The owner is like a festival barker, cute just not necessary. We ordered the lobster roll platter for $21 each and then shared a piece of pie. Next time just get Lobster roll ala-cart and skip the greasy fries and cole slaw. Save $4 and don't be as stuffed at end.

Bartley's is a must stop when I go to Kennebunkport, ME. Going to Bartley's is like going to a friends house, with all the warmth that implies. From the greeting by Mrs. B, the owner who makes homemade blueberry pie, to my server Julie who provides outstanding service with a bit of Maine wit to boot and Mrs. B's son... More

We were warmly greeted by the owner's son and taken to a windowside table. Having only 5 hours left in New England before flying home to TN, we wanted a taste of Maine. We ordered the Lobster roll that came to us packed high with huge pieces of fresh lobster. It was the best we have eaten on our trip.... More

We sat outside on an amazing evening. Yes, I splurged on an $18 glass of Cakebread Chardonnay but it was perfect with my tasty overstuffed lobster roll with crispy delicious fries. But the best was yet to come with a homemade blueberry pie topped with Gifford's ice cream. Everyone there is so friendly. We even got sightseeing directions to our... More

Husband and I shared the Lobster Roll...delicious fresh shucked lobster meat, hand cut french fries, and a light house cole slaw. Was everything we were told it would be by locals. Located right on the main road, at the bridge crossing to Dock Square with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Fun spot to people watch and we were not... More

We were looking for a casual place where we could sit outside with our dog, watch people and the sunset and have salads....and be back on the road again. This was just the place. The waitstaff were friendly. The food was good. All good.

We arrived very hopeful based on our memories of last year. The menu was changed. Prices seemed high compared to last year. We waited a very long time to be served. We cannot blame our waitress. The kitchen was not coming through. C asked for roles in the meantime and they said that they didn't have any roles or bread.... More
