I have eaten Lobster Rolls all over Maine. Bartley's rates as one of the best I have ever tasted. They easily outshine their local competition including the place next door. The lobster meat is freshly prepared daily and never frozen. Unlike their local competition, Bartley's Lobster Roll is man-sized, served with a generous portion of tasty fresh cut french fries... We made what we thought would be a quick visit and enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed longer than expected. It was a nice diversion on our way to my brothers funeral. The owner came out and chatted with us and we got to share stories. The food was Great, Fresh and reasonably priced. Thanks for a Great Afternoon and... More

Food was better than great. Fried haddock sandwich and hand-cut fries that won't leave you feeling too greased up afterwards. Waitress Teresa will take care of you and keep some good conversation going.

We stopped in to Bartley's for lunch as we were passing through Kennebunk. Parking was available right in front. Outdoor seating is available, which is what we chose. Our waiter, Steve, provided us with great service. My mother was here from Tennessee and was wanting some "real" seafood. She ordered the scallops and could not have been happier. She is... More

We had a great meal after a long day. What a friendly staff. Our waitress, Erin. was helpful in choosing our meal, very polite, very pleasant. We are in the area for three days and will go back for sure. FA and LA Fargo ND

Bartley's Dockside Dining is fantastic. Was in Kennebunkport today w/a friend, and it was such a beautiful day we decided to eat outside. We walked by Bartley's and decided to give it a try. My friend wanted a lobster roll, and theirs looked delicious. She said it was fabulous. I had the fried clam strips, and it was the best... More

First let me say that Lobster is good but it is not my favorite. I much prefer a salmon, swordfish, halibut, etc. But when in Maine - you eat lobster. Second, you need to forget about pricing. We were 7 and paid $277. That is typical in Maine tourist spots. My son's fish and chips made with haddock was excellent.... More

What a great treat to discover this classic Maine restaurant! Stopped in for lunch due to its convenient location on the water amid shops. Enjoyed a fresh lobster salad with ample chunks of lobster tail nestled on a bed of mixed greens dotted with tomatoes, cukes,, red peppers and toasted crostini ( I passed on the red onions). Our server,... More

This restaurant left a lot to be desired, we were asked if we wanted to "sit by the water" what a joke! They stuck us out by the trash, it smelled horrible! Non of the food came out right, and the food that did come out was terrible, the bill was messed up and it took the entire staff to... More

Hello Cindi S: Every so often we get a review here at Bartley's which leads us to question the true validity of it. This is one such review. Our garbage here at Bartley's is located on the far side of our property by the gas station, it is the exact opposite side of our waterfront side deck which abuts the... More

This was our second stop for lunch. We ate here 4 years ago. We were greeted by Pat, our server. He was so awesome and funny- made our lunch delightful. They had twin Lobster dinner for 27.00. I ordered one Lobster for 18.00. Now you may think, wow how expensive, but do you want fresh seafood, Lobster or do you... More
