We stopped here on a raining afternoon and were delighted with the service & cozy atmosphere. We were seated by the fire place and enjoyed looking at the numerous photos that lined the walls. The Clam Chowder was delicious! My husband and son both said it was the best lobster roll they ever had!! And trust me, they've tried a... More

We were on a cruise to Canada and New England with four friends. Our ship docked in Portland for the day, and we piled into a taxi and went straight to Kennebunkport for sightseeing, shopping and lobsters and blueberry pie for lunch. Let me tell you...this lunch was one of the many highlights of the trip! We were seated at... More

We ate here for our first meal in the area. The food is great, especially the lobster bisque, with chunks of tail meat in it. Thanks to the manager(owner?)who gave me a free piece of blueberry pie with my take out order.

This was a great deal - 2 lobsters for the price of one (plus 2 side orders) but we should have tried the lobster roll - just because it's too much work cracking shells. It was a beautiful day, so we ate outside. The service was very slow. We had to wait for a table and wait to pay (they... More

Pluses: Very friendly staff. A lot of lobster in the lobster rolls. Homey feel. Minuses: $100 (with tip) for 2 lobster rolls (one with chowder), a small bowl of lobster stew, two soft drinks and one glass of wine? The bowl of chowder was laughable, the menu advertised that it was made with sherry -- I have a feeling the... More

One of the worst meals we ever had. The clam roll was overdone and the roll burned. The fries were limp and soggy. They both tasted like they had been cooked in rancid oil. We were unable to finish the meal.

Best ever Bluebery Pie, fresh, perfect crust, straight from the oven. Big, Maine Blueberries and ice cream, too. See the website picture. Just like that! The Lobster Roll was overflowing with meat. No shell. At a price $2-3 less than the Clam Shack right next door. 4 stars because the service slipped a bit. But, they were busy/somewhat overwhelmed with... More

My husband and I are traveling in New England for our anniversary; being lovers of lobster we thought this would be a great casual lunch. While the food was delicious, the prices were exorbitant! Buyer beware
