The Clam Shack lives up to its reputation, fabulous Lobster Rolls! Friendly service, great location, cold beer!

This was an incredibly tasty lunch- our table shared lobster rolls, clams, calamari, scallops and fixings. It was a beautiful day to sit dockside and we did not mind our wait at all. The lemonade and beers were nice additions to the local menu. This place was recommended by a local, too.

We weren't fussed on the food here. Nearly $30 dollars for some fried clams that left a funny aftertaste in the mouth for some time. Staff were lovely and maybe we chose badly as the lobster rolls looked nice.

Very fresh food. Calamari fried to perfection. Lobster rolls very fresh. There are no frills here. Basically a stand with some seats for outdoor seating. Very pricey for a stand but worth it. I would definitely return. You have to try at least once.

While this place is good (I wouldn't say outstanding to the other places you can find lobster rolls and clam strips)...they have let fame get to their head. Their prices have soared over the years thanks to all their showings on Food Network and other TV shows. They have added a lot of room for seating outside.

No wonder it was rated best place ever, because it was. The lobster rolls and clam strips were excellent. Worth the large price!

Wait time is short and they have lots of areas to sit, including inside. Everyone was getting a lobster roll (which was different in that it came on a burger roll rather than hot dog roll). They had cold with mayo or hot with butter. I got the fried clams and they were delicious! Fries were great. The person I... More

Nicely salted, very fresh, great seafood. Terrific ambience for a seafood shack, definitely recommend it.

We ate at the clam shack while coming into town a few days ago. It's been quite a few years since we've been here.. They've expanded and have a small seating area Inside where you can also buy fresh lobsters, fish, and steamers. I got a 1/2 pint of clams for $18.99, onion rings for $7.99 and a grilled cheese...
