It felt good to be able to surprise our adult daughter with a place in her "home town" that was new to her. Formerly a Portland resident, she had several Mexican restaurants with which to compare Pedro's. As we arrived there on a winter weeknight (able to find parking in their adjacent lot) during "Happy Hour", not only did the... More

Love Pedro's! The food was fantastic; I have to say they have the best nachos I have ever had - definitely baked, not nuked. The food was great and the waitress was on time and on top of things. The atmosphere is fun. We will definitely return the next time we're in the area!

I have to be honest. The food isn't fantastic. It's ok mexican food. Having said that, if you want some apps and drinks on the patio, it is worth going here. It can be a popular watering holes for locals on friday afternoons.

Stopped by on a cold January Saturday to give this place a try since it's always so busy in the summer. A nice venue with friendly service. Started with the grilled scallops with a habanero aioli and the lobster/sweet potato mex bisque and both were well prepared and very flavorful. My wife had a unique duck fajita and I had... More

Stopped early on New Year's Day for some great Mexican fare! Turns out it was "Happy Hour" and the grilled chicken tacos were a fraction of the regular price. That plus a Lobster Poblano soup special really hit the spot. The atmosphere is cozy and upbeat with lots of authentic Mexican decor. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Good food, good firepit, unique decor. LOVE sitting outside in the summer having a cocktail and some munchies. We usually make it our first stop on pub crawls! Relaxed and fun!

Service and margaritas were excellent! The atmosphere was great! Dinner was ok. The salsa with the chips was tasty but lacking spice and the guacamole was plain. The burritos were ordinary but the taco salads were delicious. Nothing was served with sour cream unless asked, despite being mentioned as an ingredient of the meal on the menu.

Went with a friend for lunch and we were very disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, not at all spicy, and the salsa tasted like it came out of a jar, just not very fresh. I see others said the food was too spicy -- seems to be a lot of inconsistency here. Also, the service was poor, maybe... More

I love spicy Mexican food but this was painfully hot. Expensive for what you get. We could have had a wonderful meal at the eligant Bintliff's in Ogunquit for the same price.
