Disappointed

Not sure what happened at Pedro's... Last 3 times have been so disappointing....and this place used to be a "sure thing", so it's confusing. Drinks are definitely not what they used to be, in presentation or taste. The food pricing is not cheap, but in line with other overpriced places in the... read more

Out of the hustle and bustle of Kennebunkport main street, this is a great place to eat. We sat outside and had a wonderful lunch. Friendly staff.

Loved this place, me and the misses went on honeymoon! Fantastic nachos . . . standard fajita plate that was delicious! great outside seating, reasonably priced! Did not like that they charged us for chips and salsa, but overall was still very reasonable

Decided to catch an early dinner after our whale watching trip. The food was very good! I had the pineapple pork tacos and my husband had the chicken chimi, both were very tasty. We were able to catch happy hour too. Definitely recommend it!

I had heard such good things about this place, really wasn't all that, maybe the only thing good there is the drinks but we didn't have one at lunch.

Our kids wanted Mexican, so we decided to give this place a try. The place looked dirty and run down...should've gone with our gut to leave. Reminded me of a dirty college bar. It has really odd decor..Devils, skeletons, religious symbols, etc. Not sure what they are trying to prove with all that weirdness. Food was no better. The place... More

We went on a windy, cool day and wanted to sit inside. The hostess put us right in front of an air conditioner so we moved ourselves to the bar. From there it was ridiculous. Nobody seemed to no who was waiting on us, the bartender finally got a drink order and then the food took forever. Once we got... More

My family and I returned to Pedro's for a second year and again had a great meal. Delicious Nachos with chicken followed by burritos and taco salads made for a filling and tasty meal. Service was well done and we dined in an hour but never felt rushed. I'd recommend Pedro's if your looking for great Mexican in Kennebunk !

Pros and cons PROS: The atmosphere seemed relaxed and fun and our two beers came out promptly. CONS: We ordered nachos as an appetizer and then we split a veggie burrito. The nachos took an hour to arrive (after being told that the kitchen burnt the first order). The nachos that arrived much later were still over crispy as well... More

Although a bit removed from the impossibly crowded "port," Pedro's is still busy enough -- and deservedly so. The food is plentiful and good, and the fish taco is especially recommended. The staff is friendly and efficient, and both indoor and outdoor seating venues are vibrantly south-of-the-border. A great place either for family, friends or just couples. In the summer... More
