Description: Old Vines openned last spring. Wonderful, cozy, European style wine bar which serves a menu of "small plates" and great wine list. I go there often and love it. Its been well reviewed in local paper and Portland (ME) Press Herald. If you list it, it will get reviews as it is popular with local residents and visitors.

Old Vines has changed ownership and it is just not what it used to be. Somehow, it's lost it's vibe. The staff is trying hard and doing their best, but it's moving away from its roots. I went to the bar two different nites over the last 4 weeks and it was disappointing. Limited drink selection (I actually drink beer... More

Charming wine bar. Interesting wines at reasonable prices. Food is meant for sharing. Larger than tapas, but smaller than full size portions. Great Italian and Spanish cold cuts and cheeses.

We came here whilst on holiday from Wales. The food was some of the best in the town. Nice not have fried stuff covered in cheese. Really fresh tastes. Excellent beet salad. The bartender and other staff were great and is was lovely to talk to friendly locals at the bar. We went back twice. Definitely eat at the bar... More

My wife and I had a great dinner here. The food consists of delicious small-plates, the wine is very good and the ambiance is trendy. On top of that, it was one of the cheaper meals we had in Kennebunkport. I full recommend Old Vines. We had three dishes, which I will describe briefly: (1) Seasoned mushrooms -- good but... More

We went to Old Vines for a late dinner. The staff let us know there would be a wait on food, and were very apologetic, but we were in no rush and they preoccupied us with really great cocktails, so it was all good. We sat outside by the fire and enjoyed the trendy playlist. Service was good! We had... More

Awesome drinks - professional, creative and hand crafted! Loved the bartenders - Izzy and Charlie. We wish we lived closer!

The bartenders know how to mix a cocktail. Ask for Ben and watch him work his magic pouring or picking fresh mint from their herb garden...whatever your taste might be, Ben knows how to make a drink and welcome you like family.

Dinner-time took on a whole different calibre of food and ambiance at Old Vines Wine & Tapas, back in the lower village of Kennebunk. The renovated barn couldn't be any more cosy. Great music, candlelight, open fire, friendly service and a nice selection of vino from family-run vineyards. Not to mention the cocktails. The tapas concept extends as far as... More

We stopped in after reading reviews on Yelp...SO THANKFUL we did!! This place is small and cozy, exactly what we needed after running in the rain to get there. It was fairly busy on a Thursday night, but we sat at the bar and the waitress/mixologist came right over. She was so helpful and informative...obviously knows her drinks!! It was... More

A minutes walk from the main street means this place feels more relaxed and not a trace of lobster in sight. Outdoor seating is good-parking alongside and in doors a cosy wine bar. Good choice of wines from both US and further a field and some nice small tapas plates- we went two nights running we enjoyed it so much.... More
