Everthing is hand made. They are open for breakfast and lunch. They have been open less than one year but with home cooking and baked goods like they have they are on the way for success. They have the best French Onion soup I have ever tasted. If you are in Maine it is a must stop.

Great little breakfast place

At the suggestion of my brother inlaw, who lives in Harrison, my husband and I had an awesome breakfast here this morning! My egg white omelet with spinach, FRESH mushrooms, tomato, and Provolone cheese was delicious!! Not too big, not too small...the side of homemade hash was amazing. I LOVE hash... read more

I stopped with my son this morning. He really wanted pancakes; and he got them! Super fluffy! I stole a bite and they were delicious! I had fresh eggs, hash browned just right , and a grilled English muffin- homemade and amazing! It was a great idea and we may need to go back- tomorrow !

We stumbled across this place for breakfast in 2014 -- and were delighted. We recommend it for breakfast.

Small café style restaurant across from Crystal Lake in Harrison, Maine. Homemade breads and desserts. Every Thursday they have a burger special, 5.00. On homemade roll with lettuce, tomato and cheese. For that you get handcut chips or fries and a pickle. Pretty good for the price! They have other meals for a reasonable price. Small and quiet. Had a... More

We had Mother's Day brunch here. We opted to order from the menu rather than have the buffet. The buffet was large and had many yummy items and would do that on another visit, for sure. The eggs benedict were done just right! Other diners in our party had yummy overstuffed omelets. Service was prompt and super friendly and attentive... More

My wife and I are seasonal residents of the area, and while I've enjoyed Ruby Slippers' baked goods frequently in the past, strangely, I've never actually eaten there before today's Mother's Day brunch. Loved it! Terrific home-style cooking, solidly creative menu, good service, super friendly atmosphere, and of course, superb bakery. And excellent prices to boot! We'll be going back... More

I've visited their take-out dessert counter on several occasions. I'm proud to say my purchases made it home and I didn't eat them in the car! Seriously. That. Good. Coconut Cream Pie, Chocolate dipped, truffle filled strawberries and homemade turtles! All amazing! What struck me the most is how friendly and accommodating they were; I just dropped by each time... My first time at Ruby Slippers Cafe and Bakery. We were greeted by a delightful young man who seated and we had the sweetest waitress, Lee Ann. The scallops I had were delicious and the environment was so pleasant. I will definitely come back to try breakfast and lunch.
