I have patronized Le Domaine for more than thirty years; I own a home one hour away. I discovered it by accident, years before they developed the inn adjacent to the restaurant. For all this time I anticipate at least one meal each year at the restaurant. The food was the best; the service, impeccable. This year the restaurant was... More

Live relatively near by and always await the seasonal opening with anticipation. Never been disappointed. Period. Interesting French menu, lovely setting, good service, excellent wine list.

Romantic and beautiful Le Domaine does not disappoint. The presentation was artful, the flavors very good and the prices not for the faint of heart or for anyone watching their wallet. I wish I could say that our service was as good as the food, but that would be inaccurate. We have been once and we do intend to return... More

Atmosphere is lovely....very French. Bread and butter is wonderful. Braised short ribs are wonderful as is the Rie de Veau. The restaurant used to have this awesome Potato gnocchi dish which was awesome.....need to bring that back to get 5 stars!

Lovely bed and breakfast serving an amazing brunch (Sunday) consisting of Coddled Eggs w/ cream and Gruyere, Eggs Benedict with homemade hollandaise sauce, Croque Monsieur (fancy for ham, egg & cheese), Very Bloody Mary's and soothing Mimosa's. Oh, we didn't stop there. For dessert, Blood Orange sorbet, frozen Vanilla and Caramel Mouse, Berry/Pistachio tart and French coffee. Each dish was... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of Bartlett Winery in Gouldsboro, Maine as one of the best restaurants in the area – she was right – it was one of the finest meals we have ever had. It was not inexpensive, but it was wonderful. Very light but flavorful seasonings - the chef has a delicate touch,... More

We have eaten here multiple times and the food has always been outstanding and the service excellent. Le Domaine is one of our absolute favorites in Downeast Maine.

The food at Le Domaine is well worth the trip, but the service on a recent visit was less than satisfactory. We(2of us) ordered from the prix fixe menu, and one of the entrees was wrong. It was whisked away, but I thought better since we had waited a bit for our meal so I opted to keep the meal... More
