I was going to rate this an average, but for a few reasons I bumped it down to poor. We only had to wait several minutes to be seated, but those several minutes were spent in a small area by the door and none of the many employees who walked by while we were there stopped to welcome us or... More

We were there for their anniversary in July. We had my 89 yr mother with us. The tables were NOT bussed, people were taking tables themselves, I had to put my mother back in the car because the wait was so long. We waited 90 minutes for a table. We were seated at dusk outside, zillions of mosquitoes out with... More

Saw a review on TV, overrated for sure. Slaw lousy for this area, corn over cooked, lobster fine, scallops okay, haddock sandwich good. Too many other places better. Drive down to Jordan's, way better

We really enjoyed our experience there! Food was good and the service was excellent - if you are fortunate you will get Robin as your server.

Great atmosphere and the food was good too! I had a lobster roll and it was good. We ate outside and had a lovely time. I wish they gave more onion rings with the meal but it was delish.

We passed this place a few times and decided to try it on a Wednesday about 4PM. They weren't busy yet as we have seen the parking lot packed, usually a good sign. Not a good sign at all. The waitress was sort of friendly, seemed like she had something better to do and we waited too long for the... More

We've been hearing about this place for years from members of our family. We finally had an opportunity to go for a family dinner. Our food was bland and overcooked. The greens on the salad bar were wilted and unappetizing. Even my son's chicken fingers were dry and flavorless. The only bright spots were the tasty curly fries and cold... More

We stopped on our way to Canada in mid July around the lunch hour. We were eager for seafood. We ordered fried clams and haddock. The portions were disappointingly small even on the small plate that they were served on and the seafood tasted dry and not very fresh. The coleslaw was in a little paper cup and tasted if... More

Arrived extremely hungry after riding various roads on the motorcycle and really didn't want to go to a lobster pound again. Ruth and Wimpys was an excellent alternative. I had the special - salmon BLT and my husband had the Wimpys Steak Sandwich. Both were wonderful and the portions were very large. We even had a choice of what type... More

we stopped in on our way from Schoodic point. This place is a cozy with good service and interesting collections on the walls (licence plates and beer bottles.) I had the BEST pie of my life here. It was blueberry raspberry- it was ALL fresh berries with real whipped cream. The lobster bisque and lobster stew were good- big chunks... More
