Steamer clams and deep fried clam platter were delicious but the lobster chowder was a huge disappointment. The last time I had it, it was loaded with large chunks of scrumptious fresh lobster,This bowl , however consisted of mostly potatoes with a few bits of absolutely tasteless lobster. Although the broth was very tasty I did not go there for... More

We've been to this area many times over the years and with all the restaurant choices we had passed but never tried Ruth and Wimpys. We decided to try it today. We made a reservation and at 5pm the restaurant was filling up. No problem getting a table. We liked the ambiance if you will. Yes with all the license... More

From the first moment of walking in it looked like a fun place to eat. Family style seating where you feel like you are at home. I had the seafood platter it was unbelievable good everything was fresh. I had never had onion straws I am now a fan for life. One of the things I liked was the ceiling... More

Restaurants were few and far between around Corea Maine so we dedided to stop since the parking lot was full....always a good sign, right? Glad we did not read the reciews, or we may not have stopped, and we would have missed out on a real jewel. I don't know why some reviewers wrote bad reviews. This was the best... More

I was going to rate this an average, but for a few reasons I bumped it down to poor. We only had to wait several minutes to be seated, but those several minutes were spent in a small area by the door and none of the many employees who walked by while we were there stopped to welcome us or... More

We were there for their anniversary in July. We had my 89 yr mother with us. The tables were NOT bussed, people were taking tables themselves, I had to put my mother back in the car because the wait was so long. We waited 90 minutes for a table. We were seated at dusk outside, zillions of mosquitoes out with... More

Saw a review on TV, overrated for sure. Slaw lousy for this area, corn over cooked, lobster fine, scallops okay, haddock sandwich good. Too many other places better. Drive down to Jordan's, way better

We really enjoyed our experience there! Food was good and the service was excellent - if you are fortunate you will get Robin as your server.

Great atmosphere and the food was good too! I had a lobster roll and it was good. We ate outside and had a lovely time. I wish they gave more onion rings with the meal but it was delish.
