We stopped in for dinner one night. We both had the whole belly clam dinner. The seafood was so fresh and the potatoes are real Maine potatoes. The portions are huge and the price is very reasonable. I had a hot fudge sundae for dessert and it came in a cereal bowl! It was huge! The next evening we went... More

Nothing fancy .......... but delicious with generous helpings and good service. Convenience of eat in or take out. If weather had been better, take out would be perfect option for picnic by the lake.

This place was recommended to us and during a three week vacation to Maine served probably the worst plates of food in Maine if not the USA. Sorry it was dreadful the scallops were drenched in grease from the fryer the fries were disgusting. Enough said !

We ate here for lunch and though we arrived at 11:30 and they opened at 11:00, we were apparently the first customers and the waitress acted like we were a bit of a bother to show up. One of us had a lobster roll and the other had a clam strip roll. They were good, but not delicious. The cole... More

When you go into Graves you need to understand that the place is not so much a "restaurant" but a "lobster pound". Anything other than seafood is subsidiary. We were there on a weekday evening. It was not very busy. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. I am not a seafood person! I do not like lobster!... More

The restaurant was simple and very clean. The food and service were excellent and our server was witty, warm and a pleasure. The food was fresh with generous portions. You will love it!

We went for the lobster dinner. I was anticipating a large three pounder to satisfy my taste for lobster. I was very disappointed when they had only one and a quarter pounders. It was cooked OK and tasty, but wasn't all that much meat. The clam chowder was OK, not great but very expensive at $7 for a cup...we didn't... More

We sat next to a couple at a local bar and asked them for a dinner recommendation. They both raved about Graves and said we wouldn't be disappointed. The man was a chef for alarge hotel chain in MA. The place is small and we got the last table. The two waitresses were hustling and doing a good job of... More

Just came from this place. We went in hungry. My Husband is on a special diet and he eats only one regular meal a day and it should at least be warm. He ordered an un-sweetened tea. He took one sip and said wow. Take a taste of this to which I said sure. Oh My goodness what in the... More
