Five Star Stay in the Wilderness

After seeing the reviews year after year I told the wife it's time for a stay at Blair Hill Inn. After a five hour drive from Rhode Island we drive up the long driveway to luxury for the next two days. Upon arrival Dan met us in the parking area in jeans after a long day working on a deck... read more

I've been staying and eating at the Blair Hill Inn for about 10 years now and it has gone from great to even better. The attention to detail, the quality, the service are all outstanding. Continuous improvement is the watchword. The views of the sunset over Moosehead Lake from the veranda, cocktail in hand, are world-class. The dinners (and breakfasts!)... More

Blair Hill Inn sits atop an amazing view Moosehead Lake. The location offers you a panoramic view of the southern end of the lake, with Moose Mountain in front of you, and Moose Island just off to the right. Sunsets are just spectacular. You should definitely plan to arrive early, grab a drink at the bar and take some time... More

We spent two nights at the Blair Hill Inn. The breakfast was gourmet all the way both mornings. Would love to come back and experience dinner.

The Blair Hill Inn restaurant offers an elegant dining experience. Starting with a beverage on the porch with magnificent view of Moosehead Lake to a wonderful dinner with prompt efficient service to an after dinner coffee back on the veranda, it is just a beautiful way to spend the evening. You should expect to pay for this whole experience.

Please, you MUST eat here. It was WAY more than a wonderful meal (which is surely was!), but with it's jewel box setting, it was an extraordinary and total dining experience. We went there on opening night this year...and OH! What a meal! It was perfectly presented and perfectly served. This was without question one of the best meals I... More

Just returned from the Blair Hill Inn where we celebrated our anniversary. A perfect evening. Glorious views of the sunset over Moosehead Lake, a fabulous meal perfectly prepared and served, a relaxed elegant setting. It truly could not have been better. A place for a very special occasion: expensive but well worth it.

Our meal at Blair Hill Inn was absolutely fantastic. Everything from the views and cocktails on the front porch to the five course meal was spectacular. We vacation every year on Moosehead Lake and it is a MUST DO every time we come. Definitely put this on your list if you are in the area, it is a true gem... More

Setting is magnificent, view is spectacular , food is excellent and service couldn't be better. However, it is very pricey and we had to take out pizza after we finished dinner, as we were all still hungry.

The five course dinner was superb - corn and lobster fritters, potato and leek soup, delectable salad, pork and veal ragu over paparadelle, chocolate tart with minted cream. Not cheap, by any means, but worth every penny and then some.
