Good food but it took way too long to get it. The waiter told us that the chef was just fired and he (the waiter) had to cook the food. The service was so bad that we believed the waiter.

I stopped here for lunch when I was up here on vacation, and thought I would try the poutine, which was delicious, but the menu had the typical bar/ pub food. That being said, I can only speak for the poutine, but it had a mix of seafood, meat, and pasta. The highlight of this place is definitely the view... More

The Black Frog has lake front, indoor and outdoor dining on a large wooden deck. The menu was comical and the food was great. The menu has a large selection of pizza, burgers, salads and sandwiches. There is something for the whole family. It was just the fueling we needed before our late afternoon canoe tour.

Great stop off the snowmobile trail in Greenville. The food was good, fresh and hot. The potions were reasonable for the price. The service was pleasant but limited. The place was full with one waitress. She did her best though in the circumstances. Hoping to stop again in the future.

The place looked closed from the outside until someone walked out the door. We were seated by the windows looking out on the lake. The menu was hilarious! We've been to bars with funny menus and they usually hide bad bar food. This was definitely NOT bar food. My husband had what he called "the best steak sandwhich he's ever... More

We stopped in at the Black Frog when we arrived in Greenville. For dinner I had the french dip (forgot the funny name it was given). Was very tender, could have used a bit more seasoning, but I ate every bit of it. The menu gives you plenty of entertainment and the wait staff were exceptionally nice and well attentive.... More

I considered dining experience just average and nothing special. There wasn't much which would make me come back.

The service was terrible, waited 45 min for a sandwich and it wasn't even crowded, and after eating half the sandwich which was awful I opened it up to just eat the meat inside and found a hair, never again

Great food......very entertaining menu.....nice view of Moosehead Lake while you dine in this very relaxed setting. Service was exceptional. We ate at a few restaurants while staying at Moosehead Lake and this was by far the best place too eat!
