Really good food, eat on the lake for great views, and prices are fair. Overall recommend for a place to eat at when in Greenville, ME.

Terrific lake views with good food and beer for dinner. Great service and well worth a visit. Fish meals only so-so as they were very breaded and fried .

A laid back restaurant in a great location. Great food and service with a fun menu. Sit outside and enjoy a beautiful sunset with cocktails and dinner.

Went to the Black Frog for dinner while on vacation in Northern Maine with Family...when you arrive there is no one to greet you, when someone finally realizes you are there, you are told you can sit wherever you want inside or outside, we picked outside, and we were told to pick out our own table...we were a family of... We ate at Black Frog last year and had an okay experience. We returned this year for dinner with my family and the experience was horrible. When we walked in we stood for a while and was not greeted by anyone. We sought out a server and asked if we were to seat ourselves or continue waiting and he said... More

We ate with the ducks on the water after a long trip . I value the setting and scenery as much as the food............and everything was perfect . Another lobster roll to sample while up north with family . The lobster is cold , but that seems normal , I think it would be more flavorful if warm or hot... More

Greenville is not the largest place in Maine so eating out is limited. The Black Frog has a great outside deck as well as indoor dining. We visited for lunch and found the service friendly and efficient and the food good. Great lunch stop.

Let me preface this soon to be pretty scathing review with a background. My family has been coming to The Black Frog for years and have always had an excellent time. This trip however, on the 5th of July was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We will NEVER be back. After waiting almost an hour... More

I visited the Black Frog last year while in Greenville. ME. It was good then and still excellent now. I had the clam and scallop combo. They have excellent seafood there, so I suggest you try it.

We had lunch at the Black Frog last week. The setting on Moosehead Lake was beautiful. The food was ok, the service was very slow. We waited almost an hour for our meal, the place was not that busy, don't up know what took so long.
