Had a great dinner with 20 family members at Sedgley Place. The service was excellent especially since we were a large party. Food was very good and our family really enjoyed the place. The menu is fixed pricing and they offer a great variety of entree choices each week the menu changes. I found the vegetables and salad to be... More

Took my family to dinner there for Mothers Day. The food was poor at best. The pork & baked potato weren't even hot (room temperature) same with the seafood. The vegetables were overcooked. Only thing the correct temperature was the stuffed mushroom appetizer. The "hot fudge" on the sundae at dessert was cold and the ice cream melted on arrival.... More

Haven not traveled here or 5+ years, but the meal was still as wonderful I I remembered it. Excellent service, super wine choices, entrees are so hard to choose because they all sound soooo good. Any desert choice is a good one...WOW. Still love this place after many years.,

My husband and I wanted a date night and decided to try Sedgley Place, and we are happy we did. For all one price (prix fixe) we enjoyed a five course meal that was well prepared. Their menu changes each week but they always have prime rib, a seafood dish, a vegetarian option and a couple of rotating entrees. I... More

My husband and I got married five months ago and what a great decision it was to have our wedding at The Sedgley Place!!! To say that staff went above and beyond for us is an understatement. They were simply outstanding! The food at this restaurant is just great and all 30 or our wedding guests were thoroughly impressed. What... More

I hadn't been to the Sedgley Place in many years so I was looking forward to it. The decor and popularity haven't changed but the food and the overall experience have changed and not for the better. We were seated downstairs in the main dining area which has beautiful floors and antiques but the dated wallpaper needs to be updated.... More

Love this place because the food is always great. The menu changes weekly with the choice of meat-poultry- and fish. It starts off with cheese and crackers then choice of soup or salads, the main entree with fresh vegetables, then desert. It is an old homestead house with good seating for quiet conversation with people you are with. Reservation required... More

I have been to this restaurant a few items and to me it is a traditional quaint little Maine style restaurant. The ambiance is warming, service is good, food quality is above average however options are limited with a small seasonal menu. You typically see the older generation enjoying a relaxing meal or people celebrating a special occasion. I would suggest... More

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. Have not been there in a few years though. It has not changed. Still a beautiful farmhouse out in the country. They serve 5 course meals in three settings. All the food is wonderfully presented and the vegetables are grown on site which is used in many of there dishes. The... More
