Down home cooking

Whenever we go I always get the meatloaf. My husband get the beef liver with onions and bacon. Consistently good food. We always sit in the bar. Less crowded.

The service was great. Refilled our beverages, asked how the food was but wasn't too bothersome. Food tasted good. I always get the chicken finger plate and ask for House dressing on the side (it's their sweet and sour salad dressing....so delicious) Atmosphere feels very cafeteria like with booths. Quite loud/echo hearing the kitchen. I like the food best along... More

Stopped in on our way to Oxford Casino for a quick lunch..We were not impressed ...The restaurant was not very clean. Tried to ignore it but everywhere I looked didn't look like it had been cleaned for a very long time. Just couldn't eat the lunch because I felt sick to my stomach just looking around. Cheap eats but no... More

Since Cole Farms coleslaw dressing being my favorite, and not available any longer in my state, , we drove 2 1/2 hours, to Maine, to get a gallon of it from the restaurant( it keeps a long time) and timed our arrival so that we could have lunch. What a lovely experience. The restaurant is very homey in decor. Casual... More

We left Gorham NH, in the morning and decided to drive awhile before stopping for lunch. Stopped in Gray, Maine for gas and asked where was a good place to eat. He said Cole Farm, one mile down the road. The parking lot was filled. I ordered the Chicken basket (4 pieces) only ate the two large one and split... More

Sat at the counter alone. Service was slow and very confusing. The specials on the board look like a 2 year wrote them. I order an appetizer fried green beans ,they were very greasy and I put them aside. My hot chicken sandwich was dry and the gravy look like wallpaper paste. The manager was very nice and she replaced... More
