Good for Lobster and Steak

Stopped by Ocean gardens while visiting in Maine. It;s a basic restaurant nothing fancy, but they know how to serve lobster. Salad bar was mediocre but fresh, hot buns and soup. Lobster prices are high right now but hopefully will be lower in June. Steak was tasty.

I have been to Ocean Garden twice and both times left very unsatisfied. The food was absolutely terrible. I am disappointed because it would be nice to have a restaurant to go to so close to my home.

Great restaurant, great service, amazing food! Perfect portions not too big not too small. We will definitely visit many more times!

Stopped in for dinner. We had a group of 4 people.Overall food was OK.Clam chowder was watery.Everything else is fine. The only thing i did not like was the way they charge the gratuity. They charge 18% even for group of 4 people without let you know about that.Check your bill if you go there.

We were in this area and I remembered reading about this place on Trip Advisor so we decided to give it a try. This looks like a family restaurant that has been around a few years. It had a clean and comfortable atmosphere with a bar full of locals on one side and more of a family feel on the... More

We have been going here a couple a times a year with Mother, say 3 years. Somethings are changing: less choices at the salad bar, revised menu with price increases, and a bar tender so novice and unaware that he put bitters in a dry gin martini.(OOPS, did not fool me with that one). Quality and quantity down and prices... More

Great triple lobster for the price. The Prime rib was delicious and tender. Salad bar was just adequate. But plenty of food between the plates and the bar. Service ok...Had to ask a couple of times for refills on drinks and a to go box. Place was packed with locals..always a good sign

This is the place for Maine Lobster. The food was great especially for the price. The restaurant was clean and the service was outstanding. We were treated like family. We ate the two lobster dinner with salad bar. Really good. Worth the drive from Portland.

Stopped in for dinner. Friends wanted more lobster, having eaten lobster along the Maine coast for the last 4 days. The triple lobster dinner was plentiful and fairly priced. While the lobster did not rise to the level of deliciousness as previous lobster dinners elsewhere, still, it was nice. The prime rib was done to perfection. The fried haddock was... More
