Sometimes, coasting is good, but not for a restaurant. We live in Georgetown and have always relied on a good meal not far from our home. Now we go the extra miles to Solo Bistro or the Admiral Steak House in Bath. Our meal 2 nights ago was predictable and plated ala diner. Really, Michael, all you have to do... more

We dine at Robinhood a couple of times each summer. It is always excellent, from their famous homemade rolls to desert. I had the short ribs, my friend had the halibut. We shared a mushroom ravioli dinner as an appetizer. All great! Service, excellent (Kristen) and a good and reasonably priced wine list. In midcoast Maine, it is a tossup... more

Be it in the middle of the summer season, or a cold wintery weekend evening they always delight. Fabulous food, great atmosphere, very nice wine list. I would recommend reservations during the tourist season. Each... more

I'm originally from nearby Bath, and head home every summer with my wife. The Robinhood Free Meetinghouse is a fantastic restaurant located just minutes from Bath. I've been twice. The first time I went I remember remarking that it was one of the top 5 meals I'd ever eaten. I had a simply beautiful steak with a peppercorn cream sauce,... more

When my wife and I first came upon the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse (RFM) in the summer of 2004, we did not have any expectations higher than we were looking for a decent meal in a relaxed atmosphere. What I got was one of the finest meals I have ever had in a place that conjures up images of what it... more
