Several people highly recommended the Oxford house and after dining there on Saturday i can fully agree. The dining room is very comfortable - tables well spaced, white-linen elegance without the fuss. Food is absolutely delicious. with multiple flavors combining into a harmonious taste. Do not miss the deserts! I was dubious about the white chocolate brioche bread pudding (expecting... More

Our innkeeper, Rob at the Red Elephant recommended this restaurant for a romantic honeymoon meal but when he said it was in Maine, at first, I was taken aback until he explained that we were on border of Maine and that the restaurant was only approx 20 mins away. We made reservations but at this low season it was not... More

Well thought out gourmet food in a refined and intimate atmosphere. Your choice of seating in the front "parlor"; back dining room; or the "porch"--where the views across to the mountains are nothing short of spectacular. Locally sourced ingredients are found throughout the menu, the wine list although not as rich in depth as one might like still contains plenty... More

Dinner at the Oxford House is always a great experience, the well thought out gourmet menu uses local ingredients in brilliant ways. Great wine list, great specials. The Pub downstairs is a casual alternative, this cozy room is just perfect for a couple or when meeting friends for a social time.

There are two dining experiences on offer at the Oxford House. The pub offers a simpler menu, at a little lower cost, in an intimate atmosphere. The main dining room is both lovely and very interesting. I recall my last diner there involved duck. It was delicious.

What can I say? Another amazing stay at the Oxford House Inn! It's always great to see Jonathan & Natalie and enjoy a cozy stay. We were greeted by Debbie who is as sweet as they come. We enjoyed a light dinner at the pub our first night with Stacy at the bar. It was also great to see Meghan... More

Whether you are with a group of friends or on a date, the oxford House Restaurant is awesome! My favorite environment is downstairs where there is a hip, artistic vibe. The food is phenomenal! High class food and beautiful yummy cocktails at reasonable prices. I've never had a bad meal there and I go several times a year.

Arrival: We were early. Our 1st year anniversary and our god parents live one block away (they share the same lovely view). We have a home 30 minutes away. A kind greeting. Tour of the dining room facing the lovely view. Led us to the Downstairs bar. Downstairs bar: Charming and kind staff. We took our drinks outside and sat... More
