We were delighted with our dinner at the Oxford House. We particularly liked the Asian-inspired choices. The Shandong noodle stir fry with garlic sesame marinated roasted tofu, veggies, roasted pineapple and fresh soba noodles in a Szechuan ginger sauce was exceptionally good. Another in our group enjoy a hoisin braised pulled duck, crispy scallion pancakes, Asian bbq and roasted grapes.... More

We ate there twice - once upstairs and then again downstairs in the pub. Both dinners were incredible, from appetizers straight through to dessert. The service was friendly and efficient. When we ate upstairs, we sat in the back room and had an amazing view of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I highly recommend the pulled duck and pancakes,one... More

My husband and I were staying in North Conway and wanted to go to a nice restaurant for dinner. We found the Oxford House via Trip Advisor and decided to go. It has been several weeks now since we ate there and I'm trying in vain to remember what our main courses were. I do remember I had gazpacho soup... More

The Oxford Inn offers classic dining in Fryberg, Maine, just a few minutes from the Mt. Washington Valley. This is a reservations recommended evening of fine, fine dining, superb service and one of the best wine lists I have seen in a while. Meghan was our server and she brought wisdom and professionalism to our table. Presentations were artistic. Main... More

We went to the Oxford House for both our 25th and 30th (this year) anniversaries and both times were so pleased with everything. We consider this a "special occasion" restaurant. The setting is in a beautiful inn, in the heart of Fryeburg. The food is outstanding with many different and exciting offerings prepared with very fresh and oftentimes local ingredients.... More

6 months ago I was searching for a fancy restaurant for my 1rst anniversary dinner with my husband. I am very glad I made a reservation early and chose this place! We were greeted with a friendly host, who brought us to the back porch. The scenery was beautiful, music playing softly in the background and a candle light table... More

We stayed at Oxford House Inn and benefited from the great breakfast provided to guests, but we also had dinner the evening before. The food is excellent, and the menu is varied.

We were staying in North Conway at an Inn that didn't offer dinner, so Trip Advisor guided us to the Oxford House, just a short drive away across the border. We were seated on their recently converted back porch, with a picture-window view out onto an astonishingly beautiful panorama of mountains and farm fields, with a perfectly situated willow tree... I've reviewed this restaurant before, but after this last meal, I had to post again. One of the best, most satisfying meals I have ever eaten. Not a wrong step in four courses! The gazpacho was beautifully seasoned, with just enough heat to make it interesting, and the fresh corn melded in so well with the other vegetables that you... More
