I can't stop inviting friends to join me !!

It's hard to describe just exactly how amazing this EXPERIENCE is! It's not just a place to eat - it is an experience that feels indulgent yet it doesn't empty your pockets. I live 25 min from Jacqueline's and I take every opportunity to invite someone new to share in this experience with me. I... read more

This is a gem of a place off the path of outlets in Freeport. A friend told me about it or I would not have known it was there. Jacqueline was a perfect hostess and the scones, with their butter, jam, clotted cream and lemon curd, were wonderful. The tea was exactly the right blend of flavors. I would visit... More

My husband and I visit Freeport frequently and can not head through without stopping! We have had both cream tea and high tea and both are wonderful. As a drop in you can enjoy a pot of any if her 100 teas and scones with butter, devon cream and lemon curd!!! At High tea you get unlimited tea and an... More

Having traipsed round Freeport with my husband in search of the elusive golf apparel (for him!) I was in desperate need of some refreshments. I saw Jacqueline's Tea Room mentioned in a tourist brochure which I picked up in some store so thought we would stop there after our shopping expedition had ended. We drove up to the house (easy... I want to start by saying that tea is - by far - one of my least-favorite things in the world. I was invited to Jacqueline's Tea Room for a birthday party and was very apprehensive about going. A friend's daughter paid for many of us to go as a gift to her mom. I dressed nice and decided that... More

We visited Jacqueline's yesterday to belatedly celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. We were joined by my two daughters (9 & 11) and I had made reservations a few days in advance for the afternoon tea (a 4-course tea service with unlimited tea; roughly $30/person, including the kids). There are three tea rooms, each exquisitely decorated and practically everything you see is... More

We recently celebrated a very speical birthday with afternoon tea at Jacqueline's ... The birthday girl declared it "better than Paris" The food, atmosphere, shopping, and particularly Jacqueline's knowledge and skill with the different teas were all superb. I highly recommend the tea room, you will leave happy!

Jackie's tea room is an enchanting little place. I went with family and we received the star treatment from jackie, she even showed us the upstairs and had great recommendations for gifts. It is my favorite tea room and I'm from the south! We know our tea :)

I stopped off at Jacqueline's on the way to visit friends in northwest Maine, and had intended to purchase teas and be on my way. I told Jacqueline my intent and she suggested that a scones and tea gift would work very well. I was skeptical as we would not be able to serve the scones until the next morning,... More

I have been to Jacqueline's Tea Room several times in the last few years, and always come away happy, relaxed, full of tea - and feeling that I shared a wonderful experience with my companions. Jacqueline is an excellent hostess/proprietor. She blends her own teas so she is able to easily describe their elements, and is happy to recommend based... More
