I'm not a huge BBQ fan but I already can't wait to go back.

I don't even really like BBQ food but this place has a large variety, huge portions, reasonable prices, and a great staff. Not the best fried pickles I've ever had but they were definitely high on my list (I get them everywhere we go). My first time trying brisket and it was amazing. My mouth is... read more

I have eaten here four times. I keep coming back because I love a good BBQ and I live local, so I REALLY wanted to like this place. I like supporting local businesses. But I just can't justify continuing to spend my money here. I have tried several items off the menu. Fried pickles are mediocre. The Burnt Ends are... More

I love real smoked bar-b-que appetizers, entrees, and main courses.I smoke meats, fish and veggies at home (whenever I have the time) and am always trying them out whenever I get a whiff of excellence by word of mouth from someone I trust with the same cooking background and tastes that I have. In late January 2015 my wife and... More

We stopped here on our way back to the hotel from L.L. Bean, late on a Friday night. There was a really good band playing, place was kind of empty but the service was good and the drinks excellant.

The atmosphere is fun and they are always having drink specials, so this definitely would be a cool place to hang out and watch a game or something. But going strictly based on the BBQ which is their calling card, it's pretty average. You can't really find better BBQ in the area, but this is Maine we're talking about not... More

We stop at Buck's for lunch as soon as we get off the highway in Freeport, even before we check into our hotel! I've been coming here for over a decade and the place has changed (for the bigger and better!) but the food is just as good as the first time. I always get their pulled chicken sandwich, the... Good food at a good price for the place just minutes from the Freeport outlets. It was pretty crowded for mid January lunch, but I guess that is a good sign!

Came here after a local brewery raved about it and it didn't disapoint! If you didn't really want ribs, you will after walking through the door, the smell was so amazing. Portions were large (got the sampler bucket for $27) and my husband and I barely ate half. Food came out extremely fast. Small play area was great for kids.... More

Two of us stopped here for late lunch/early dinner. The poutine was very good; the giant steak fries were a little intimidating. The smoked wings were some of the best I have had anywhere, and I consider myself a wing connoisseur. The burnt ends were very good, and all the optional sauces (sawz) were well balanced and tasty, and there... More

This place is all about the sauce(s), you basically order your meal, and then add your own sauce to most of their BBQ items, which is great! The sauces are in easy to pour bottles right on your table and each have a description. I have to recommend the smoked jalapeno sauce, goes well on anything (especially the chili). The... More
