Great Mac n Cheese

It has been years since I was last here (don't let the April 2014 date fool you, it honestly was about 2009 when I last came here) but I do remember the Mac n Cheese being of great quality - so cheesy and a very big serving. I'm sure prices have gone up a bit since then but it was... read more

I really can't understand why the place was so busy because this was one of the worst meals I have ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the baby back ribs and my friend had the catfish. Rib meat was dry. How do you accomplish that with such a fat laden product???? I guess since I didn't see any smoke... More

If you like tasteless bbq, served cold youll love this place, also seems expensive to me. 80 dollars for 2 rib dinners with a couple draft beers, I know bbq is just reheated food anyway but at least heat it. The worst greens ever.Service tried to be good.

We were visiting Freeport and wanted a steak so Buck's Naked BBQ seemed to be the perfect place. We found the atmosphere very relaxing and the service was excellent. The 14oz. black angus steaks were cooked to perfection. We had a garden salad and baked potato as sides but there were lots of other choices. Buck's has a wide range... More

I've been going to Buck's Naked in Freeport since they opened ten years ago. The food is great, reasonably priced and the atmosphere is comfortable with good service. Never been disappointed here.

Place is cute and clean. Wait staff is both friendly and helpful. Food (potatoes, topings) was lukewarm/cool and my medium steak was well done and dry. Waiter offered to take care of it, when informed by a dining partner, which I declined. Other 3 people at my table were pleased with no complaints

We had heard good things about Buck's Naked so decided to give it a try while we were in Freeport. My wife had the baby back ribs and said they were the best she'd ever had. I had the house brined ham Cuban sandwich, which was made with both ham and pulled pork. It was excellent. Our server was helpful... More

Meats were very fatty, not marbled, with chunks of fat of which you get mouthfuls. Their great BBQ sauces cannot hide the slither of fat in your mouth. Be careful ordering sides. The "snacks" (appetizers) are the "sides," but the side does not include all the ingredients described under "snacks." The waitress did not apologize or try to complete my... More

I placed a carryout order so I didn't get to dine in but the food was good! I ordered the pork sandwich and wings. The sandwich with coleslaw side was great! The wings were a bit over done, especially without sauce but overall I would eat here again.

Buck's is a very interesting place. My wife and I ate there with me hoping for some good BBQ, and she wanting something nice that probably wasn't BBQ. One of us got our wish. Her salad of seared salmon over the salad was excellent - cooked nicely and well presented. But, this is supposed to be a BBQ place and... More
