Been to this restaurant twice, first time was two weeks ago. Second time was today. Not happy at all will never go back. I know its cold but the heat should be on inside! Waiter was to busy with the special board to care about myself or other people there. Guess I should stick to the same old food as... More

My twin 8 year old girls have been asking to go to The Freeport Café for 2 weeks. Today first thing we woke up they asked to go. I said they are probably closed. One of my daughters said "it is the Freeport café they are probably open every day but Christmas". I called and the person who answered the... More

Hello Yarmouth Maine- Those are smart twins you have! I love that they knew our hours, too funny! I'm glad that you all made it for "breakfast" and got to order just what you wanted. That's one of the main reasons we offer our full menu all day. All of our servers work hard and deliver friendly service. They do... More

After reading so many positive comments about this place, a friend and I decided to try it. When we arrived, nobody came forward to seat us, respecting the sign asking us to wait to be seated. Eventually we were shown to a table, and then were greeted by a very grumpy server. We placed our breakfast order thinking that things... More

Hello- So sorry to hear that you had that experience here. We are know for our friendly service. Our homemade hash is a huge hit! We sell over a hundred pounds a week. I understand it wasn't your cup of tea, however it is one of our best breakfast sellers. I do wish you happy dining. Cheers! More

We stop here every year on our way up into Maine. We usually leave in the morning without breakfast just so we can enjoy our meal here all the more. Sometimes crowded (it's worth the wait) with good service and great coffee (a must) for a very reasonable price.

Hello PA- Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Café. We just love to hear stories like yours! It seems we have quite an out-of-state following. Many guests, like yourselves, plan their departures to coordinate with their arrival at the Café for their favorite meal. The bonus is we serve breakfast all day so you never... More

Went here on our way to Boston with a family of 4 (2 kids). My experience is usually oood at these dinners, but not this time. The food was not great. I had the eggs benny and they were overly rich and didn't taste homemade almost, although I am sure they were. Service was VERY slow. Ordered fast and got... More

Hello- Thank you for taking the time to review our Café. Our Eggs Benedict is one of our most popular breakfast dishes. In fact we sold over 4000 eggs benedicts last year. People come from all over, and keep coming back, and tell us that we have the BEST eggs benedict. We make our hollandaise sauce with Cabot butter and... More

Located walking distance from our hotel. Delicious homemade oatmeal with fresh blueberries. Hot muffins and biscuits. The first time I have ever had homemade corned beef hash, great.

You can always count on this place for a great breakfast. I particularly love their oatmeal with wild blueberries. It fills up quickly on weekends and the line goes out the door, so get there early if you want a table.

This is an excellent cafe, especially for breakfast. We stopped in here to see what it was like after hearing from a couple of sales people at L.L. Bean say they heard it was a great breakfast place. We ordered a large cinnamon roll, and large it was. It overlapped the plate. It was light and airy with luscious icing.... More
