Your basic breakfast place done to perfection.

Predictable, friendly, this restaurant is what most people want in a breakfast place. No rush, all the standard options and friendly wait staff. Not too expensive. Free breakfast for veterans on their day. Convenient location right on Route 1.

My family has known about this adorable little coffee house for over a year and my parents still rave about their homemade muffins, breakfasts and delectably scrambled eggs. We live about two hours away, but any chance we get we stop at The Freeport Cafe for breakfast/lunch. The meals are VERY affordable and the servers are so sweet. I definitely... More

The food is typical for a breakfast cafe, and the quality is pretty good. It's not exceptional, but the prices are good and menu is diverse. The service was excellent. We'd go again when in the area.

Stopped in for breakfast and was not disappointed. The sausage bacon gravy and biscuits was huge and very good. My wife had the hot Italian sausage burrito that was also very good. Easy prices and huge portions of very good food.

We ate breakfast there since we stayed at the Best Western (15% off ;) ) It was about what you would expect for a diner as far as breakfast is concerned. We thought the coffee was pretty bad (typical weak Maine coffee), but perhaps locals like the weak, flavorless style of coffee. It's hard to have bad breakfast, and we... More
