On a side street in the heart of Freeport, the Corsican quickly became our favorite lunch spots in this bustling town of designer outlets. It is located in a vintage house and on two levels...al fresco, when the weather is warm and sunny. No real parking...we always park on the street, but there are free parking lots nearby. The menu... My husband and I were on our anniversary weekend in Maine. We found this restaurant on trip advisor. It was small and quaint. The waitstaff was great! The food was delicious! There were so many choices. I had the grilled scallops with a maple syrup glaze. The desserts were out of this world. I had the maine blueberry crumble pie... More

We had lunch here following a shopping spree at LL Bean. It was about 2:30 PM, but several tables were still occupied. Corsican has the best clam chowder in Maine. No doubts, as I have enjoyed Maine clam chowder from Lubec to Kittery over a span of nearly 50 years. The sandwiches were excellent too ! For lunch, you can't... More

Wonderful fish and clam chowder. Tons of fish and the broth was thin which I prefer. Minestrone was wonderful too! We took our soups to go. The Dining room was small and homey looking.

We ate here for lunch one day. We both got a pizza. My husband got the meat lovers and I got the vegetarian with a gluten free crust. They were both delish! Thoroughly enjoyed them. Cooked well and lots of toppings. Great looking menu. Would definitely recommend.

I and 3 friends went here for lunch our first day in Freeport. Had to wait a few minutes and then got a table upstairs. It is on the small side but I thought very quaint. I had a burger which was okay and the girls had lobster rolls which they said were very good. But the best part was... More

Excellent restaurant on a side street in Freeport. The chowders are exactly what you want a chowder to be and the pie was divine. Glad our innkeeper mentioned it, next time we'll know exactly where to go.

Great lunch place, nicely priced, good portion sizes without being way too much food. Clam chowder was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, very helpful with menu items. Overall a really great choice for our one meal in Freeport.
