Good Lobster roll and chowda

small place, closes a bit on earily side (8pm), friendly help, but food looked good. Definitely not an upscale resturant. Had lobster roll and cup of chowder for $20. Thought it was a bit on the high side, but very close to shopping and hotels.

Nice find .... sat outside on a nice sunny day and had great chowder and a lobster roll. The place is small and a bit out of the way but worth it. Waitress was friendly.

The service was great. The food was good, but I thought it was a little overpriced. Got the tuna melt and the lobster roll.

What kind of restaurant locks the doors by 7:40PM? The Corsican does! My husband and I went their last night since their reviews were good and were shocked to find the door locked. People were inside dining so we knocked and a staff member opened the door only to tell us that they were closed and would take no more... More

Dear Nancy N., We are so sorry you did not get to dine at The Corsican on the night you chose to try us. We had been open for nine hours that day and we chose to close for the evening. We are so appreciative for your feed back and thank you for taking time to let us know! We... More

After going here with a group of friends I had to go back and bring my family. Absolutely loved the Tarragon Turkey sub and the blueberry crumb pie.

When locals recommend a restaurant, it usually means the food is excellent - and the Corsican is! We ordered salads with lobster, and they were fresh, crisp, imaginatively done, and made a wonderful lunch served with warm, dill rolls. The menu had something for everyone - even children - and was like eating at your mom's house. Friendly wait staff,... More

The Corsican closes for a stretch in January and February. This presented a quandary, as I like to treat myself to a chowder lunch every couple of weeks. This is Freeport, Maine after all, so there are plenty of alternative locations serving chowder. I really enjoy the Corsican fish & clam chowder, and hoped there might be another good bowl... More

At one of the main intersections someone was handing out menus for this restaurant. Enjoyed my lobster roll and chowder, and my spouse had chowder and a salad. Bathrooms super clean. A very nice lunch spot after a morning of shopping!

The Corsican was highly recommended by the Kendall Tavern in during a mom's weekend away. They easily accommodated 11 of us, and everything we ordered came out just how we asked for it! Our waitress was great! I had the salmon with the blueberry sauce, and it was delicious! Some of our group had the dessert. The blueberry pie was... More
