The Corsican is a small restaurant on the first level of an older two-story home. First, the personal attention we received by the waitress and the chef were exceptional. Next, the menu offers quite a nice selection of the unique meals. My wife ordered the lobster roll and I ordered one of the salmon selections recommended by the chef. The... More

I was taking my mom and three boys out for a bite, and we came upon the Corsican. Greeted immediately, and asked to sit outside on a gorgeous July evening in Maine. Our waiter was fun, courteous and attentive. My sons and I all had the haddock and clam chowder to start, and all I can say is "oh my"…it... More

I'm surprised others could get the review of this restaurant so wrong. We were seated at about 120. 10 minutes later the waitress comes over. We order our food at 130 and it shows up at 2. 30 minutes for a small salad with chicken and a lobster roll. To call the lobster roll plate sparse would be an overstatement.... More

We have been stopping here for years in route to Bar Harbor. Always leave wanting to return. Classic Maine seafood fare with gourmet touches that make the dishes, soups and sandwiches out of the ordinary. Food always tastes fresh and "homemade". On a side street it is easy walking distance to LL Bean so park here, dine and then shop.... More

We had dinner there and as it was such a nice evening we sat outside in the patio area. The staff were very attentive and friendly, prices were reasonable and I had one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had !

My pasta tasted nothing... So dont take the ailloli pasta if you go there. The wine was good, but i was sad that they did not have any corsican wine or french wine.

Dear Pseudomoi, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of The Corsican. We sincerely apologize for your unhappiness with your Lobster & Scallop Aioli and our lack of having a Corsican wine! We take constructive criticism very seriously and an immediate discussion was held with our two co-Chefs! The dish is prepared by searing the scallops in... More

We saw the Corsican and decided to give it a go. Happy us. The menu has diverse choices, some excellent daily specials. My wife ordered the chowder and clam sandwich special, this writer had a haddock sandwich and clam chowder. The chowders were excellent, creamy, tasty and quite satisfying. My wife enjoyed her clam sandwich as did this writer his... More

We were two hungry shoppers looking for a decent place to eat dinner. This quaint eatery fit the bill. We both enjoyed haddock florentine which was moist and a very healthy sized portion. Along with the bed of spinach the fish was on, sides included wild rice and mixed vegetables. Homemade rolls and butter were also served. When we saw... More
