We strive to create a warm and friendly cafe that reminds you of home cooking. We prepare all of our food from scratch using fresh ingredients and family recipes. Next time you're in Freeport, stop on by for breakfast, lunch, and of course one of our famous sticky buns! A long time feature of Freeport, Maine, Isabella's Cafe has recently come under new ownership by Caite Maynard. Caite has worked in the food industry for over 40 years; she is renowned for her baking, soup, and her attention to customer service. Isabella's Cafe now focuses on fresh food made by hand, using locally-sourced ingredients and family recipes; breakfast and lunch are available all day, and Caite's passion for baking results in a bakery case filled with delicious items from cookies, muffins, and scones, and the homemade sticky bun bread pudding is not to be missed!

Great place for breakfast and lunches. Closes by 3. Very reasonable prices. Dislike dixie cups for water. Bottom line is great option.

Thank you, otherwise abrasive L.L. Bean lady who advised us to try Isabella's for breakfast! :P) The service was very friendly and energetic, the advice on what to eat was on point, the portions were generous and the food was, to be really honest, delicious. The atmosphere was simple and unpretentious but the place was very clean. The only one... More

Hidden round the corner is this local bakery with home cooked food. We had breakfast sandwiches and good coffee. And a great blueberry and white chocolate cookie. The staff were really friendly, helpful, and chatty. Definitely a good place for breakfast and good value. Recommend as also supports a local business.

We had a late breakfast at Isabella's in Freeport. I had scrambled eggs and a biscuit, my husband had a combination omlette with biscuit. Coffee of course. Coffee was weak. Eggs were dry, biscuits were dry and impossible to eat without a beverage. $18.40 plus tip. Refills for coffee were $1. The table was so sticky it was revolting even... More

The lady behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. The sticky buns and coffee were better than average and there were a few tables inside. Since the shop is close to the main street we opted for takeout and a park bench. Hint: she will make you a delicious home made pie...not frozen...with a days notice. Overall, a place... More

Went there for breakfast on a Sunday, we got a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. The food was good, fresh, and reasonably priced. I would have tried a cinnamon roll but they were already out! They were also out of sausage for the breakfast sandwiches, but I was happy with the ham. Very friendly staff, it's seat yourself but they... More

Very good breakfast ...Very different flavors. Their "sticky Buns" are fabulous...The egg dishes are freshly made and the staff is always concerned about the customer!! Very good way to start the day!

I am not a sweets person but I definitely enjoyed their sticky buns. The staff is quite friendly and welcoming. Breakfast sandwiches are good too. I would recommend this place for brunch in the Freeport area.

We camped in Freeport for four days and found this gem by accident. The sticky bun french toast is excellent. I also loved the egg and ham sandwich on a homemade biscuit. We had breakfast there everyday.
