We stopped for lunch while shopping in Freeport. I was worried that a restaurant on the main drag of an outlet town would be mediocre and overpriced, but was pleasantly surprised. Nice, clean interior with checked tablecloths and an extensive menu. Not cheap, but good value for money in comparison to other similar restaurants. A nice lunch spot for sure.

first off, the prices are fantastic! the more lobsters you buy, the cheaper they are! what really sold me was the atmosphere. on my visit, a musician was playing out of the patio and the tunes carried easily inside. Also, the guy behind the counter was super friendly. He even threw in an extra clam chowder for us. Overall, a... More

Which is a downeast lunch counter that is in one of the most tourist populated towns on the coast. Gonna be crowded in season? Yup. Gonna pay a higher price? Yup. But here's the thing, it's great lunch counter food.I ordered steamers and a haddock sandwhich. Phe-no-menol. HUGE piece of fish fried to perfection. Same for the steamers - done... More

Flew in to visit family and was soooo ready for Maine SEAFOOD ! I was tired and hungry from 3 am flight. My sister said there is excellent Italian place down the street to die for, but I managed to convince that I needed seafood now. Not busy, older couple enjoying a lobster. I had grilled haddock sandwich and clam... More

I had lunch here with my husband on a rainy October day. We arrived just after noon and the place was not too busy. This is a pleasant place, very clean, where you order at the counter. I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque and my husband the fish and chips. Though there were three couples in line ahead of... More

Yes the "lobster was flowing our of the roll" but that there was only a soup-spoon of lobster in the roll, on a very thick bed of lettuce for $17. What a rip off!

We had hoped to find a lobster place off the beaten track, but after Columbus Day, most of those places are closed. However, we found this place on the main drag in Freeport - a live band was playing and we sat outside. Great New England clam chowder, and my husband and i got a chopped salad with lobster -... After a walk around the shopping outlets in Freeport we stopped at the Lobster Cooker for lunch. There was seating outside and it was such a lovely day, and they had some good live music on. We had fish and chips which were fantastic and plentiful. We has bottle of corona which went down really well in the sunshine. It... More
