Enjoyable Lobster Roll and Chowder

I had lunch here last weekend and enjoyed a Lobster Roll with a suprising amount of lobster inside. The roll was warmed and buttered. Quite a big serving for $15 US. Also I tried the seafood chowder in a cup and it was really enjoyable. It was served with a packet of chips (crisps)>

They claim to have "awarding winning chowder" but we've had better from a can - MUCH better, in fact. We paid $9.99 each for a bowl of seafood chowder and got cold potato soup. There was no fish, clams, scallops or shrimp as promised. After i picked out the potatoes, there was only a little milk left. The potatoes filled... More

I came in wanting to try Maine Lobster for the first. Now I can understand what the fuss is. The Lobater Roll I had was delicious. If I could, I would come back often, but must leave soon. This will be my top place to come for a Lobster Roll!

My lunch was excellent and the service was very good as well. I'd go back anytime!! The breaded fish had a light crust but not oily.

My wife, step son, and myself stopped in for a Saturday lunch. The food was excellent, the haddock was as light as air, the french fries were devine, and my 13 year old step son, who is quite a critic, enjoyed all of it! Highly recommended, and the price was quite reasonable. Tom is a great cook!

Stopped by to get 2 soups for lunch. 1 haddock chowder and 1 corn chowder. Neither were notable, very thin broth. The haddock chowder was priced at $8. It didn't come with anything other than a package of crackers. I will pass on this in the future.

Went with a couple of adults for lunch. We got the fish and chips and a bowl or seafood chowder, and three drinks. Cost 40$ no tip. First, the place smelled like old oil and was VERY dirty. The fish and chips were over cooked, thin pieces of previously frozen at sea haddock. the french fries were average to poor.... More

I enjoyed my lobster roll, I thought the lobster was fresh and it had a lot on it for the price. I was not impressed with my seafood chowder! If you are up in Freeport shopping and want something quick it's worth the stop. I would not go out of my way to eat there.

The chowder was fantastic, bread bowl made it even better, and the fresh onion rings were amazing. Everything's fresh and quality. It's a small place but feels cozy and secret. The service was quick and friendly. Definately will go back. Loved it.
