Lobster Bisque

The only reason I go to this restaurant is the lobster bisque. I love it. It's rich and creamy. I add extra lobster. I realize it is only my opinion but, to me, it is the best lobster bisque I have ever tasted. The service was slow and the restaurant was crowded. But the bisque is worth it.

There are too many other good places in Freeport to eat- this is a tourist trap. We tried it twice- service and food was terrible. The lobster roll was over priced and small- the lobster stew was bland. Other food tried at our table was bad- burger and fries were cold, order did not come out correctly, we did not... More

Perhaps we visited on an off night - but this time Linda's was average at best. Greeting at the door was not warm - just harried - and it wasn't busy. Server was completely perplexed throughout the entire meal process. Delivered the wrong drinks and auctioned food items. Made numerous errors on the checks. It really took away from the... More

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. No seating available except at the bar so we took it. Very friendly bartender. Had a very good lobster roll. The coleslaw was very tasty and loved the chips. Price was what I would expect given where I was. Would return.

Linda Bean's is a great place for lunch or dinner! We stopped for dinner and all four of us ordered something different from the considerable selections on the menu! Everything was cooked to perfection and special requests were well received. My Atlantic Salmon wrapped in seaweed in a slightly tangy mustard sauce with whipped potatoes and mixed roasted vegetables was... More

We spent 4 days in Freeport and ate half of our meals at this restaurant. Food was fantastic and the service was great. Would certainly recommend this food establishment to anyone Also very reasonably priced!!

We recently had a family dinner at Linda Bean's. It was a cold winter night and the fire pits outside were inviting. We had great meals and tasty beer. The haddock baked the "L.L. Bean Way" was perfect and the home-style meatloaf dinner was a hit. The burgers our sons enjoyed were also delicious. The only thing we were unable... More

Visiting LL Bean, went for lunch here. Lobster roll was featured and delicious. The chowder was okay, but not special. The coffee was great! Not cheap, but good quality ingredients and well prepared.

Stopping through Freeport on the way home from a Football game -- decided a Lobster Roll would hit the spot. Stopped at the bar, and had the roll within 10 minutes. Very filling, but a little pricey. However, the salt and vinegar chips were a great addition!

This restaurant is akin to a warm hug! Great comfort foods and nice atmosphere especially upstairs. Don't worry about the lines, they give you a beeper so you can continue to shop while your waiting. It's a great lunchtime go to place.
