Depending on how you like your lobster roll.

I only gave the lobster roll 3*'s because I prefer it to be grilled, with a little mayo, celery and a little lettuce. With that said, if you like yours toasted and with only lobster meat in it, this is the place for you because that is how it is served. I know a lot of people prefer it this... read more

We were shopping at the outlets in Freeport and Lobster Roll at L.L.Bean wasn't open for the season. There was a sign on the window indicating that they weren't open until May. We were there on May 5th. We ventured across the street to L Bean's Maine Kitchen and had the Maine lobster tails of joy and lobster pockets and... More

Disappointed with quality and service. Lobster sandwich contained more dressing than the cheese and lobster when it was located; lobster taste as if it was marinated in vinegar. Supermarket tomatoes??? We felt rushed in mid afternoon when half the tables were occupied. While eating we were asked if we wanted anything else, not sure because we were in middle of... More

Stopped here yesterday for a quick lunch. Had a salad with baby spinach, beets and warm goat cheese.......mmmmmmm delicious. Then had a small portion of fried calamari and lemons. And ended with a scrumptious dessert of Chocolate Mousse Cake. I have to say it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. I truly... More

Tasting like lobster had been dipped in salad dressing. No lobster taste at all. Calamari was undercooked and disgusting. The staff was a nice as can be. Maybe they can get a job at a good restaurant.

Outside the "roll ". I dont usually order out of the norm, typical food hamburgers, fries, or sometimes a dinner salad. Today was a treat day I order a Lobster Roll.. fantastic , the hot dog bun which is the proper way of having a Lobster Roll,.This bun was full of chunks of lobster meat, more meat than bun. You... I had baked haddock and it was pretty good. The vegies were mushy and not my type of stuff. The included potatoes were very good. Service was fine - they were friendly and helpful. We were told this place has some mixed reviews from the locals and I saw that in what we had.

We had lunch here today. We ordered seafood chowder that was thick as paste and split the grilled lobster and cheese sandwich. There could not have been more than an ounce of lobster on the sandwich. All we could taste was the secret sauce. The staff were all very nice and we didn't tell them that our lunch was so... More

The lobster roll meat was not all that good, and the roll was not toasted well enough. To just slather margarine on the roll and show it to the grill is not right. I prefer a roll that is stuffed with a little more meat, and for that, I'll take the trip up to Red's Eats in Wiscasset. Only seasonal,... More
