Big portions and great advice

Really pleasant place. Friendly service and excellent food. We really appreciated the advice on how much food to order.

I have dined here numerous times and it never disappoints. It is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious, the service is wonderful and the atmosphere is comfortable. The meal started with avocado & brie on a grilled baguette. The bread was perfect, just like we have in New Orleans. It did not fall apart when you took... More

I love Conundrum.. it is just around the corner from where I live and I go often. Vinny, the owner, is one of the nicest people around and always makes sure each visit to his establishment is the best. Apparently the martinis are superb (I don't drink) and the wine list the most extensive in the area.. the food is... More

Vinny knows wine & food and people like him make my traveling life so much better. I've eaten mussels all over Europe and these are maybe the best I've ever had. Wine list is incredible & coming from California & a big wine collector, I didn't miss a beat. If you love food, wine & a gracious host who knows... More

Dinner at Conundrums was very good. The margaritas were very flavorful to start. The Wedge salad was what we had to start the night off. The creamy red wine dressing was absolutely amazing! Then we had the Butternut Squash Tortellacci which was very good. Overall it was a nice flavorful dinner and the atmosphere is always good! Service was great... More

We lived in Maine for 20 years & return at least once a year - whenever possible we include a stop at Conundrum during our visit. The food here is wonderful; there are always several vegetarian options & even though we are meat lovers we often choose these because they are just sooooo good! Wine & beer selections are great... Great selection of wines and drinks. A small, but excellent selection of food. Wait staff is predictably outstanding. If there's a place to be in Freeport for adults who appreciate wine and mixed drinks while eating, this is it.

This place is awesome. I used to come here every once in awhile when I worked in Freeport and it was always good. Before tonight I haven't been here in over a year. And it's still awesome! First of all, in the winter time it's the only place that isn't corporate that's open after 9pm. The service is on point... More

Yes, Conundrum originally opened as a wine bar and has an amazing wine selection. However, the food is truly amazing. They have a full service bar and a covered heated deck. On Friday's and Saturday's it can get packed and a bit loud. But, the food is worth it and the location is convenient. They offer difficult to find wines... More

Very good wine selection, nice patio. Wheelchair accessible. I really enjoyed my meal under the patio lights.
