I had the lobster roll and a beer. The waitress wasn't sure where the beer was brewed. The sandwich was all right, the fries a bit cold. It was easily near my hotel, so walking was perfect. There was also a small child running around that didn't seem to be claimed by his parents for a long time.

We stayed at the Jaspers hotel & of course ate at the restaurant. We had their boiled Maine lobster, their corn bread that is to die for, & fresh Maine blueberry pie!! The hostess was exceptionally friendly, as were all the staff that helped us. I will definitely be going back next year.

First I want to say, I put a '?' after "Stay Overnight" because I have never stayed at their motel, or any motel/hotel in Ellsworth, I've always lived close enough that I'd rather drive home. That said, their hotel seems to be frequently visited, it is directly off of the Main St, that runs thru Ellsworth and with a left... More

We visited Jaspers with two eighty something relatives for lunch before heading to Bar Harbor. The last time we were here was two years ago and had an average experience, and it was about the same. The service was good--our waitress was attentive and responded quickly to fill our drinks and take our orders. The decor is dated and there... More

I went to Jasper's after a day trip to bar harbor with my friends and my friend suggested Jasper's because he's been there in the past and it was good and he wanted lobster. After sitting down and reviewing the menu we noticed the price was 35.99 for a one pound lobster meal. So I saw on the menu penne... More

Went to jaspers with some friends and was disappointed with my order. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger for 10.99 and I only got a hand full of fries, little coleslaw and my burger which was dipping with grease. I wasn't impressed overall and neither were any of my friends with their dishes. I wouldn't recommend and I won't be... More

My crab cakes were burnt, soggy and cold. And for 16 dollars I'd think there would be more than a handful of fries and some tiny cup of Cole slaw.

Everything about our visit was great! My husband's lobster dinner lived up to his expectations of a fresh Maine lobster dinner. My steak was juicy and cooked to order. Our server was friendly, efficient and accommodating of our needs. If back in the area we'll definitely visit Jasper's again.

In years passed, I have been to Jaspers and was quite pleased with both the service and the food. This year, something must have changed. I had linguine in marinara and a side of onion rings. Both arrived at my table slightly warm. My linguine was soaking in water on the plate, and my onion rings tasted like fish. I... More

Dropped by Jaspers to grab a quick bite and found live music with an open mike night in progress. Great talent, great atmosphere and the service is outstanding. They have all your favorite beverages, and don't mind if you sing along with whoever is performing. After a long day at work, this was a great place to relax and unwind.... More
