This restaurant has been around for a long time. In fact, my husband and I went there for our wedding night meal 44 years ago. It was great then, and it is now. Whenever we eat here, there has not been a bad meal. Have had their seafood dinners, crab cakes, turkey dinners, and all have been terrific. The food... More

My husband and I stopped for lunch on Sunday a few weeks ago. The waitress could not have been more professional in her interactions with us. Unfortunately, the fried oysters had no taste to them at all and i was disappointed in that meal. It was pricey, too. The roast pork was not much more flavorful The cornbread was delicious as... Jasper's was okay, very cramped, dark, and very expensive. The food was at best okay, and it wasn't very family friendly. The staff wasn't very friendly. The waitress just seemed annoyed and bored.

Not as good as I remember. Service was friendly but the food was a bit overpriced for what you got. The decor is getting a little dated. May return again next year but will try other options first. Did not find it as bad as some other rates..

This is a good place for seafood. They have an all-you-can-eat fish fry night, which is good. We have eaten there for years and never had a bad meal

Jaspers was recommended by a fellow traveler, and I am left wondering about his taste in food. Between my partner and I we ordered boiled lobster and grilled scallops and haddock. All were well cooked , (not dried out) but, they were all barely warm when served. I also had to pay extra for a green salad, something that should... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch on the way from Bar Harbor to the airport. I really didn't want fast food, which was abundant in the area. I had the crab cake appetizer-2 cakes, good flavor, a little "mushy in texture," but still satisfying. My friend had the Mac n cheese and shared some. This was pretty good. The... More

This was hands down one of the WORST meals and WORST service and WORST restaurant experiences in my life. Where to being? Restaurant seemed a little busy but not swamped. Understaffed, yes. We were seated politely and quickly. But then the fun began. We waited so long for a waiter to come by we got up and got our own... More

Had dinner here with another couple while traveling thru. The cobb salad was fresh, the fried shrimp platter (a full plate of shrimp) was delicious. I didn't care for the Lobster roll, but the lobster stew was good. Service was excellent.
