Decor still California campy, but food and service has gone steadily since Beth and her sister sold the place a few years ago. Breakfast and brunch is still great, in the 4 or 5 star category, for the area.

Riverside Cafe is a great option for brunch. Their stuffed strawberry and cream cheese french toast is heavenly. Homemade corned beef hash fried crispy is the best I've ever had. Flavored coffee! Grab a window seat facing Main Street to accentuate the charming atmosphere. Staff is friendly. They close at 2pm so get here early.

Love the Riverside Cafe for breakfast! The inside of the building is charming and unique. The food can be hit or miss, love the vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch as well as the dependable breakfast choices. Service is good but they are often very busy, would recommend for a meal and visit with friends!

I used to love this place, but the food and service have really gone downhill over the past year. I avoid when able.

I see you visited last September. Recently I had to take back over the day to day operation of the business. I trust you will now find the food quality, service and cleanliness of the restaurant back to the way it had been in the years past. Please give us a try again when you are in the area. You... More

I had breakfast and it was perfect. Nicely grilled homefries and a tasty omelette! I love the homemade wheat toast option too!

So disappointed with our breakfasts! My daughter ordered Raspberry Stuffed French Toast and was served soggy french toast with brownish, sweet raspberry mush poured over it. Not at all what we were expecting. I ordered the omlet stuffed with corned beef hash & cheese. The omlet was topped with two big cubes of corned beef covered with melted cheese. At... More

I heard that there was a management change back to the previous management so I decided to give it a shot. The food was excellent! Previous chefs were cooking and the dining room was spotless. It seems we are back to the same restaurant that we always loved! I recommend everyone to give it another try. You won't be disappointed"

By far, the worst breakfast place I ever ate at! Pancakes were egg and greasy, bacon was burnt, eggs were runny and the service was awful. From the time we sat down until the time we left, it took an hour and a half! Absurd!! We're not tourists either. We live here and for the life of me, can't figure... More

Only 4 tables occupied during my visit. The home fries were burned (which even one of the waitresses commented on as really smelling bad). They still served them. I ordered a bacon, mushroom and Cheddar omelet. It came out with cold raw mushrooms and the cheddar was just thrown in an not melted. Plus they put in raw chopped onions... More
