Martha's Diner was easy to find and the parking was ample. It was the recommended breakfast place by our motel. We found the premises to be clean enough, only all new furniture and accompanying stations would be cleaner! Our attendants were polite and knowledgeable, and our food was dandy. They could even accommodate only egg whites for an omelet. The... More

We recently ate here while traveling from Bar Harbor back to Boston. We asked for recommendations from waitress and she said they have a good crab eggs Benedict that is not on the menu. I ordered that and it was delicious. It came with home fries which were good, but not the best I've had on this trip. My husband... More

We stopped for breakfast and the food was great. Cooked to order, great coffee. The waitress could have topped off the coffee once or twice, but other than that we loved it. Just make sure you have CASH! No credit accepted.

Loved the pancakes but they could have used more blueberries. Great oatmeal. Did not try the muffins as I dont like cinnamon ones and that is what was there. Saw many people eating fancier meals such as listed on Trip Advisor. One thing my wife and I took away wasa that it was very noisy. There was the usual crowd... More

We loved this place so much the first time that we had to go back again. The crabmeat Benedict and the toast made with homemade bread were awesome. Martha and her staff make you feel right at home. Other family members were equally impressed when they stopped for lunch. We'll be back!

Was on the way to the Bangor Airport when I googled "Best Breakfast" nearby. UP popped Marthas! I had the Crab Eggs Benedict and Tom had the Ham and Eggs with a side Pancake. AWESOME! Fresh Crab meat over a handmade english muffin. Huge 1" thick slice of ham and eggs. A MUST!

I loved the down home feel of Martha's. It's a favorite place for locals to meet and eat. We ate brunch there two days in a row. On our first visit I had their special eggs Benedict made with local lump crabmeat which was sublime!! My husband had the special scrambled eggs with wonderful home fries and Italian sausage, peppers... More

The service and atmosphere, friendliness and welcoming tone, cannot be beat. The food is good, better than any other breakfast place in town (though that alone is not saying too much considering the competition).

They make good omelets. I like the one with broccoli and Swiss cheese. The home fries are a little large and not as tasty as I would like but my husband loves them. Homemade toast costs extra. It is a little loud in there but unless you want a quiet conversation it is okay and even fun at times.

We've only been there for breakfast, but I don't believe I've ever been in a place where the service was better. The food is also excellent. They do an Eggs Benedict with an actual slice of ham on it that is fantastic, but you better be hungry! They also make their own bread. The 50's and 60's artwork and oldies... More
