Great breakfast, large portions, good food, very fast and great service. One of the two best breakfast spots in Ellsworth....will definitely return to try lunch and something more for breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were very good.

Recommended as one of the hot spots to eat in and around the Ellsworth area so we thought we give it a try. Place was crowded. It was a decent breakfast but not over the top.

Great food & atmosphere in this diner. Always good specials. Everything I've tried has been excellent. Love bringing friends there for the first time. It always becomes a favorite for them.

This is one of those glorious local places with a great kitchen! Has that 50's diner vibe with lots of "Lucy" and "Betty Boop" photos and paraphernalia. I splurged on the "short stack" (two HUGE buttermilk pancakes) made with bananas - they charge extra for real maple syrup, but hey, it's well worth the 75 cents! Fresh banana slices were in... More

This place is the real deal. Delicious, freshly made food that will make you smile. The staff is so capable and friendly. I had the omelette with feta cheese - so good. I have been there for lunch too and my family who lives in Ellsworth has tried just about everything on the menu and just rave about the food.... More

We really enjoyed Martha's. The diner and decor are cute and nostalgic and there are some great pieces of memorabilia around the restaurant. Our service was very attentive and they graciously served me my cup of coffee and 2 full glasses of ice to make my preferred iced coffee. My usual, eggs Benedict, were cooked perfectly and the ham was... More

Martha's Diner was easy to find and the parking was ample. It was the recommended breakfast place by our motel. We found the premises to be clean enough, only all new furniture and accompanying stations would be cleaner! Our attendants were polite and knowledgeable, and our food was dandy. They could even accommodate only egg whites for an omelet. The... More
