Excellent food, nice people (staff and clientele) - definitely a "find." They were crowded so we ate at the bar - everything we had was really good. Will look forward to going again.

It was a drizzly/cloudy Sunday so decided to leave our cottage on the ocean for a little shopping and lunch at Finn's. It was a great choice although I ended up not having the "pub fare" that populated the menu (although I was tempted). Instead I had 6 oysters on the half shell--cold, briny, and absolutely delicious, followed by a... More

We were starved. It being a rainy day during tourist season, it was packed. We had to wait a bit, but it was okay. Everything was delicious. We ordered the Scottish egg for an app along with Mozerella wheels. Both were good. Hubby ordered the rueben wrap and said it was the best wrap he'd ever had. Little one ordered... More

Very pub like. Limited menu but good food, great mussels. Good bar, interesting beers and entertainment on certain nights. Clean & friendly.

The bar at Finn's is inside the old 1932 Jerry O'Mahoney dining car that once resided in Northport, but in the early 1980's is was moved to Main Street in Ellsworth. In the early 1990's a building was constructed around it and after a few stints as various restaurants, its latest incarnation has an Irish flavour. The menu journeys from... More

This place is really great, it has something for everyone. We travel with a small group and everyone can find something they like on the menu. If you are looking for a place to try new beers this is it, way to many to list. The atmosphere, service and food is great, lots of parking and easy to find. The... More

First, remember this is a pub, not a fine dining experience, or a fast food joint! So as a pub, put it in the top 10 on the east coast. The bar is in a neat old railroad car so people eat at the bar or in the adjacent dining room. The food has a distinct Irish flavor with steak... More

Friendly waiting staffs, great selection of drinks (especially if you like Stout, or dark beer). I had a cup of clam chowder which was different from other places, not creamy, but tasty. I also had a wrap, called Finn's Big Bang which was good. It came with potato salad which did not seasoned with mayo, but with vinaigrette and some kind... More
