Friendly waiting staffs, great selection of drinks (especially if you like Stout, or dark beer). I had a cup of clam chowder which was different from other places, not creamy, but tasty. I also had a wrap, called Finn's Big Bang which was good. It came with potato salad which did not seasoned with mayo, but with vinaigrette and some kind... More

Food was delicious! Lindsay was an exceptional server. Place is hopping and she handled it all with superior grace. All the waitress were amazing. Kudos! We have been back twice.

Everything about Finn's was right. Started with a great hostess, went to great service and on to great food. Four meals, four raves. Entertainment was live and not overpowering. If you can make it on Tuesdays you get to hear Colin. Great on the boards and so good he makes you believe there must be a cover charge. The bad... More

Horrible service. I've been twice and no one had time to greet me or seat me. I live in Ellsworth and I wouldn't go there again. If you must eat in Ellsworth take your money and go across the street to Mainely Meat BBQ or (much better) you have the time head to Mount Desert Island or West to the... More

I had my very first Scottish Egg here and it was great. The homemade aioli that accompanied it was out of this world good. The atmosphere was friendly, upbeat, and everyone seemed to really love working at Finn's. We loved the bartender.

We tried a haddock sandwich and Mac n cheese. The sandwich had TOO much bread for the small piece of fish. The Mac n cheese had " tomatoes", mushy at that, and its rating is an F. I strongly suggest you try another dinner house.

Stopped in here with a large group. We were seated quickly. Our waitress took great care of us and was very attentive. I ordered the Celtic sandwich and it was so delicious! Great bread and great veggies. LOVED the potato salad. It's made without mayo so it is refreshing and light! Would definitely eat here again and again!
