Waco Diner is one of the oldest restaurants in the state of Maine. Breakfast is excellent with daily specials. Great value for all meals.

We ate lunch here and enjoyed the food and the view. Menu is basic and simple but food was fresh and tasty. Sit outside if the weather is good. Great view of harbor.

My aunt always raved about the Waco Diner. It's a landmark that has been serving up good plain food for decades and that can always be relied upon to treat you right. Plus, it's easy on the pocket. Stop in and enjoy the true downeast ambience!

Our waitress was nice, the food was ok. We had the seafood sandwich (very good) and a cheeseburger and fries (average at best). We saw someone in the booth in front of us got the pancakes and they looked very good.

Nice place with a view and outdoor seating in summer. Food is good, service is good. One of the most enjoyable Eastport eateries.

I'm not a diner person but this one is great. Good, comfortable seating, nice people, great food - part of the Eastport experience.

Breakfast made the old fashioned way. Pancakes are fluffy and perfect. Fresh eggs, great home fries. So pleased, we made a return visit for lunch. I had American Chop Suey that was outstanding. So good in fact, I tipped the cook!! They serve breakfast all day!!

Have eaten here for nearly 40. In that time it has changed owners but the food and prices remained good. It was renovated and a large deck was added to take in a great view of the Bay. My family continues to go here today.

The Waco Diner is a typical DownEast Maine eatery. The best thing about it is the service, which was prompt and friendly. I had a cheeseburger and fries, which were good but not great. On the other hand, the Waco is cheaper than the other lunch spots, so I felt that I got my money's worth.

We were staying at a condo next door to the Waco, but I didn't want to cook (it was vacation, after all!). So we ate there breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Loved the wild blueberries, the eggs with smoked salmon, the stuffed French toast, the lunch specials (chowder and a sandwich), ditto the dinners. It was our anniversary while we were... More
