Why not?

Pretty much what you would expect. The waitress said all the seafood was fresh, which would appear to be a ridiculous claim. Shrimp? Scallops? In August? Tasted good anyway. Nice view, good service.

Lobster on the back porch overlooking the bay😀. It does not get much better. Fresh food and quick service. Casual dining Lobster stew was loaded with lobster. Mussels were tasty with lots of garlic. I would love to go back

They started us off with rotten clams, never in my life have I been served rotten food. We should have gotten up and left then. The rest of our supper was deep fried frozen food simply awful...go anywhere else!

Our third time eating here and we'll eat here on our next visit to Eastport. The best chowder in Maine! All the restaurants in town offer wonderful fresh lobster, but the Chowder House offers a great indoor dinning environment overlooking the bay for those less optimal outdoor days.

We enjoyed fresh local scallops on the deck while watching a beautiful sunset. While the menu isn't particularly imaginative, they offer very fresh, delicious local seafood at a reasonable price in a pleasant atmosphere.

Went to the Chowder House with a close group of friends. We all sampled each other's dinners and shared the appetizers. To sum up everyone's opinions of the food, service and experience, it was just OK. Great location and views.

New England Clam Chowder was excellent. The best we had in Maine. Great service. Great food. Would definitely go back again.

We come here every year for our lobsters. We have been here just two people and also in a group of 20. The view is stunning!! Sit out on the pier , watch the ferries go by and in August you can see whales. We usually have our dog with us too. Desserts are amazing, but its the lobsters we... More

We made a visit to the chowder house on July 5. I initially had high hopes when we pulled onto the lot of the restaurant. It looks like it used to be an old fishing or lobster dock. Unfortunately, it was raining so we could not sit outside. With that said, the outside view was pretty spectacular, tucked into a... More
