Well, this is not an easy review for me to write. I absolutely love the look and feel of this diner! From the bright shiny outside, to the cool 50's look on the inside. All the place needs is to give is waitstaff 50's attire and the jurney back in time will be complete! Complete except for the food! Yeah,... More

Now that the fall is here , it was time for a quick eat out on a Friday night and Blast from the Past was the choice. The retro diner building makes a Statement as a home to comfort food. Having eaten there several times, the statement is upheld each time. My partner had the special Turkey Dinner and she... More

Food is Barely Average, Service is usually ok, However, They are always out of something, or they forget to bring things, Then the Bill, Usually Wrong.. Better check the bill. Noisy environment, but good seats

Very mediocre dining option (but could be considered pretty decent for Maine I guess). The atmosphere is pretty good and the wait staff is friendly. The food is average at best.

We had a simple breakfast. Waitress was great, food was prepared perfectly and the prices were very reasonable. There was also enough room to park our truck and camper.

Went in for breakfast the other morning with 4 people. Two were children. Each kid got one choc chip pancake and shared a side of homefries. Two adults were there as well. One had a broccoli and cheese omelet and coffee and the other two fried eggs, bacon and toast (waitress forgot the toast). The bill was $45. We did... More

Probably won't go back. I was overcharged and the manager refused to refund the money. She said there were typos on the menu. I told her this could mean the loss of a long time customer, to which she said nothing. They also own Lisa's Pizza, Rosalinda's and the diner in Scarborough, which I will skip from now on. The... Blast from the past isn't just about the food, it's about the experience. This 50's replica restaurant brings you back in time with a mood setting venue and reasonably priced food. Friday nights during the summer is the best time to go when antique car aficionado's rally to flash their pride.

I have not been a real fan of this place since day one. It has been a plastic place. You don't sell food when you go in. It is clean , neat, and well lite. The staff doe's fine, and it is friendly. But, too plastic. However, in the last months, especially during the Friday Nite Specials, the wife and... More

The red-and-white leatherette-upholstered booths, pink overhead lighting, black-and-white checkered floor, jukebox, old-fashioned popcorn machine, and walls covered with 1950's memorabilia make the Blast From the Past Diner is a real classic 1950's diner. It was built by Valiant Diners in Ormond Beach, FL. I began coming here in 2011. Returning from vacation in the Naples/Casco/Poland area, I took a 1/2-mile... More
