Way better than expected

After trying the more touristy places in town, we decided to eat here for lunch. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful views. We saw a lobsterman checking his pots, and several sailboats. Service was ok, but not great. It was the end of the season, and they were trying to use up their stocks, so a... More

The lobster was watery and mushy and my friends on our bus that had chosen prime rib were very disappointed with that also. The wait staff was terrible and snippy and made us walk to the bar to get a drink. Drinks were served in paper cups with a straw already in them when we sat down. Desert was a... More

Good seafood in a simple setting. Great service. Right on the bay where we could see the working lobster boats. Local clientele.

This place was ok. We sat out on the patio to enjoy the nice day and look at the water. Its nice that people can drive their boats right up and enjoy something to eat at a restaurant. Food was ok. The worst part was the seagull that swooped in at landed on a pile of clean plates...if the waitress... More

We arrived at our B & B late in the evening so we didn't want to travel very far to get something to eat after a long day of travel. The inn we were staying at suggested the Lobsterman's Wharf. We like it. It is a rustic place right on the water. Our waitress was super nice and very accommodating.... More

Mohammad was the waiter! I love oysters! I was dubious about how fresh the oysters might be. I asked Mohammad. he kept saying everything fresh here. I asked when the oysters were delivered to the restaurant ? Mohammad said everything fresh here. The oyster delivery presentation was exquisite. I examined them and tried the most promising looking one. It was... More

Lot's of locals means it's good. Spacious with lots of alcoves and a comfy bar area - pick your ambiance and preferred view. Interesting combinations of seafood make up some entrees along with the tried and true. The salmon was delicious. Wait staff attentive and friendly.

Don't be dismayed by the exterior looks of the place. Was a little hesitant but the building out over the water at a working shipyard seemed as if it might be interesting. Too cool to eat out on the deck so we selected a corner table facing windows looking out at the water and a gorgeous new sailboat being labored... More

Visited this restaurant for the first time in 21 years today and it hasn't changed one iota, which is a good thing. The steamed mussels are still the best we've ever had. It's a funky, off the beaten track place at a working shipyard and that adds to its funky charm. And the Blueberry Pie is delicious too.
