We were in Castine the beginning of September and this has to be one of the best lobster rolls I had in Maine. The town of Castine is amazing and sitting on the dock and seeing the freshmen students running through town was great fun!

According to the sign they've posted on their window, they're closing due to their rent being raised 300 percent. Nothing special, it's a shack next to the town dock that serves ice cream and seafood. Overpriced.

My husband and I were on our vacation to Maine. One of our days was to visit Castine, ME. Castine is beautiful! We had heard that The Breeze was a good place to get lobster rolls. We arrived at 12:30pm as well as others who were ready to eat lunch. The woman behind the counter said they were not open... More

Great ice cream to enjoy on the dock! I enjoyed the Deer Tracks (coffee ice cream with Heath Bar), while my husband enjoyed Mainr Maple Walnut.

This little shop had the best lobster roll hands down for our Maine 2014 vacation. They moved the ice cream from the bake shop two blocks up the hill to this food stand where they also won best Moose tracks ice cream on this Maine visit. Oh, and best sweet potato fries says 4 and 9 year old kids. Thank... More

A seaside shack is usually the best place to grab a quick bite and where you would find the best clams..... Do not look for that here! The wait was interminable. I could only imagine they were making one item at a time and leaving food to sit and wait while they labored through the next item. Certainly my over-breaded,... More

Already at the end of the season, later afternoon, we had to wait almost one hour for 3 lobster rolls and 2 burgers....even for the icetea we had to wait 30 min..!!! Although in a nice setting, do not go there!!! The lobster roll was terrible, too!!

We come and go from gorgeous Maine towns, and like many travelers, search for the perfect quick lunch. We wanted fast Maine food with a view, and we got it! We had crab rolls and the trimmings while watching the beautiful harbor with its Maine Maritime Academy ship, smaller sail boats, and general seagoing craft. Breeze has a range of... More

People were very friendly here. Actually ate at Castine Variety on Main st. Same owner. Very nice people but horrible food. Fried haddock was so thin compared to the 2 inch fish we had elsewhere. Little breading and a very small piece. No tartar or lemon. The large has more french fries instead of more fish!! Fries very soggy. Had... More

Stopped in the town of Castine, ME and went down to see the view from the dock. Gota few hot dogs and sat in the gazebo. The hot dogs were good and the view was also.
