A seaside shack is usually the best place to grab a quick bite and where you would find the best clams..... Do not look for that here! The wait was interminable. I could only imagine they were making one item at a time and leaving food to sit and wait while they labored through the next item. Certainly my over-breaded,... More

Already at the end of the season, later afternoon, we had to wait almost one hour for 3 lobster rolls and 2 burgers....even for the icetea we had to wait 30 min..!!! Although in a nice setting, do not go there!!! The lobster roll was terrible, too!!

We come and go from gorgeous Maine towns, and like many travelers, search for the perfect quick lunch. We wanted fast Maine food with a view, and we got it! We had crab rolls and the trimmings while watching the beautiful harbor with its Maine Maritime Academy ship, smaller sail boats, and general seagoing craft. Breeze has a range of... More

People were very friendly here. Actually ate at Castine Variety on Main st. Same owner. Very nice people but horrible food. Fried haddock was so thin compared to the 2 inch fish we had elsewhere. Little breading and a very small piece. No tartar or lemon. The large has more french fries instead of more fish!! Fries very soggy. Had... More

Stopped in the town of Castine, ME and went down to see the view from the dock. Gota few hot dogs and sat in the gazebo. The hot dogs were good and the view was also.

A lovely dockside setting, with a huge menu. Lobster rolls were yummy, lots of meat but on the pricey side! Service was slow though and our drinks were not ready until we were Halfway through our rolls (due to 'hard' ice cream!). So good rolls - but you probably wouldn't want to try it on a busy day!!

Thesetting couldn't be better, picnic tables on the dock watching the boats and people. The lobster roll was a little skimpy, but fresh and delicious. The fried haddock was really good. The fries, ice cream etc were good summer snack fare

The usual fare from a Maine waterfront shack: hotdogs and hamburgers soft drinks and soft ice cream and a dozen or so flavors of Gifford real ice cream. Right next to the dock, a major town gathering point.

What should have been a lovely little take-out shack with fab seashore food fell as a big dud. The chowder was nothing special, and the lobster roll "bite" was just that- a bite or two of what seemed to be frozen lobster with mayo- for a whopping $7.00! The ordering was slow and the prep took forever- we will NOT... More
