We had heard this was a great breakfast joint, and certainly the cars in the parking lot appeared to support that. We seated ourselves at the counter (most of the tables were full), and ordered coffee. The menu is your typical American breakfast fare-bacon, eggs, toast, french toast, etc., but notably there is no cereal offering (hot or cold). I... More

We and our friends ate here every morning for about a week. We all felt that the quality of the breakfast and lunch food was excellent - we were never disappointed. The staff was terrific, and the food was exceptional.

The best breakfast on our New England trip was at the "Top Of The Hill" it was recommended to us by a local, and we are so glad we took the advise. It was absolutely delicious. Home Fries Potatoes were perfect! Generous portion, perfectly cooked eggs, for a price you can't beat. I only wish this little place was closer... More

The restaurant looked inviting with its booths, tables, and counter space. My husband selected the pastrami on marbled rye w/cole slaw & homemade potato chips. The sandwich and slaw were fine but the chips totally lacked flavor. I ordered a breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage links, & homefries. According to the menu, I thought the meal also... More

Amazing find! I have been vacationing in this area for almost 40 years and this is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in the Lakes Region. I recently dined there four times in less than 5 days! French toast with real maple syrup is delicious. Plate-sized pancakes were also very well done. They make their own bread... More

The friendly service and wonderful food. Home baked breads and muffins. Homemade hash and wonderful potatoes. Their extensive menu is really quit nice. Fresh, never frozen hamburgers are a wow! Hand cut fries are super as well. Beautifully remodeled .

This is a nice casual spot. I have only eaten here once and it was breakfast. It was very good. The service was good. I would go again.

I agree with the good burger review. My wife had the burger, loved it, so I tried it, very good! The kids loved their homemade mac n cheese. The wife and I tried it, and we liked it too. My steak n cheese was average. I guess that means we recommend this place. We chose it for it's proximity to... More
