I was a camper at Camp Arcadia (up the road from Pear's) starting in 1995 and have gone to Pear's for many summers between then and now. The ice cream is incredible, and has only gotten better (more flavors!) over time. My most recent trip was a few weeks ago (July 2014) and was not disappointed. One day I got... More

I was a camp counselor at Camp Cedar for two years and its easy to say Pears milkshakes are freaking awesome, we had to do a fair bit in order to earn them, though they were always worth it.

We go to Pear's every summer when we are staying on Pleasant Lake. They have yummy ice cream and a pretty good variety of sandwiches for a roadside stand. On some summer nights the lines can be long because many people love this place.

It's consistent quality brings me back over and over. By far the best sandwiches in Casco!! Giffords Ice Cream can't be beat.
