Great food, great breakfast, great lunch. This is where the locals come to eat. Must try. This menu will blow you away on how diverse it is from lamb to lobsta.

A gem! Outstanding menu and it's BYOB! We had the bacon wrapped haddock and the surf and turf risotto (lobster & lamb). We both are gluten free and we had no issue. Entrees are a bit small for the American diet so an appetizer might be a fine idea. A bit off the beaten path but worth the drive!

This chef can cook!! The seasoning on the rib eye steak was amazing. Excellent side dishes. Great pork belly appetizer. BYOB which makes this place a great value!

Quaint restaurant. Local favorite. Had a delicious egg scramble with cheddar cheese, bacon, corn and arugula. Fresh and delicious. Quick and super friendly waitstaff.

We live nearby and have breakfast at The Wayfarer on Sundays, often. The corned beef hash is simply the best. Bagels are fresh and taste delicious. Add smoked salmon, capers, red onion, and cream cheese to a bagel and it is as good here as anywhere you might like to compare. Eggs are cooked just as you order them, bacon... More

This was our first dining experience during a 2 week stay in Cape Porpoise, ME. We each ordered the deep-fired lobster and were equally thrilled to see Oregon Pinot Noir on the menu! The lobster was delicious and after subsequently having lobster prepared 7 (yes, seven) different ways, deep-fried was arguably the best (with grilled right up there). We also... More

We recently stopped for breakfast and soon realized we found the breakfast location we've been searching for. Be warned the place is small and you may have to wait, but the wait is well worth it. I ordered the pancakes and homemade sausage. Bring your big boy pants if you order the double stack, just enormous. The table next to... More

We have dined at the Wayfarer for decades-owners and chefs come and go.Most, like Brandy, have been excellent for breakfast and dinner(BYOB).Last Saturday the new owner was in the kitchen and put out the best eggs benedict I have ever had-- muffin well toasted, eggs just right, homemade crispy bacon (Cn), and an outstanding hollandaise. All other(5) meals were roundly complimented.Service... More

We had dinner here on a Saturday night in February, the restaurant was hopping!! It is a small space, on the warm side, no wool sweaters needed! The hostess and all servers worked as a team, very helpful and friendly. My husband had an evening "special", pasta stuffed with mushrooms, it was fabulous! I had the salad with goat cheese,...
