Fantastic quality American food in a welcoming restaurant

If only the British public knew that American food could be this good. We knew from the first bite of the warm rolls that it would be a treat. Our only disappointment....? Great breakfast with friendly service. Split grilled blueberry and cranberry oat muffins between 5 of us. Great starter. Hash is the gentleman's favorite in our family and they were happy to substitute tomato for Canadian bacon on Eggs Benedict. Great hash browns, coffee mugs a little small but regularly refilled. Fun to wait on front porch and chat with the... More

Was here years ago, has gotten a little gentrified. Food was good but $3.00 for a tablespoon of blueberries in season was a little steep.

Quick stop in for lunch. Very kid friendly. Fresh ingredients and friendly staff. I would stop in again and try more of the menu. Seafood options and land lover food also.

Written up in many magazines, The Wayfarer has its fans. We were there for breakfast on a Sunday and we were lucky to nab the last 2 empty seats at the counter. The servers are pretty young women with genuine smiles and they make sure your coffee mug is always full. The menu is fun. I ordered the Wayfarer Eggs... More

We decided to give the Wayfarer a try, its had a few owners and ups and downs over the years but the newspaper articles and glowing reviews about its latest owners and chef made it sound almost too good to be true. Well, it wasnt, the service and the food was all just spot on, and instantly made the Wayfarer... More

We arrived on a Sunday after meeting some of the staff about a month earlier at the Kennebunkport Festival and they had a area there where they were showcasing their restaurant. Let me first say I have never been greeted by so much love and kindness in any restaurant as i did today. From Dee who we met to some... More

37 family members celebrated my husband's parents' 65th wedding anniversary over July 4th weekend at this cute neighborhood bistro in a quaint seaside town. From appetizers to salads, entrees of lobsters, smoked chicken, or veggie/quinoa, enormous fresh shrimp and clams, corn on the cob, garlic smashed potatoes, and blueberry crisp - start to finish fresh, delicious and expeditiously served by...
