Local--BYO

Small friendly spot. Locals go here for good food. The salmon is done perfectly--med/rare. The portions are generous--with a fresh salad I always have enough left for lunch (despite the fact this gets my husband nuts). The scallops last week were terrific. This is not a fancy... read more

This is not a fancy place--casual--shorts are fine. The Wayfarer is BYO--because of an old ordinance re: distance... More

Very nice and welcoming. The food is not fancy .but nicely prepared and homey. It is a byob restaurant ...so you can enjoy your own beverage. Ther servers are very attentive and the place is comfortable. The restaurant is suitable for families.

You must stop here for any meal. The omellettes are wonderful, the chowder is great and we never had a bad dinner! The atmosphere is fun and service great.

Came here for breakfast last Sunday morning before our family vacation at our summer home here in Kport was finished. Totally outstanding! Three of us had the corned beef hash which was homemade and delicious! The service was ideal, the restaurant has been spruced up and the selection was large. Waited a few minutes for a table but they have... More

My family and I came here with friends. First off the place is small, but cute. Great thing is it is byo! We had the fried lobster which was fabulous. We all enjoyed the meal and the wait staff was very attentive. Can't wait to go back!

Our family of 4 went here for lunch. They do not have a parking lot, but we were able to find a spot on the street very close. It is not handicap accessible but we were able to get our daughters wheelchair in ( 2 small steps to get in). The place is very small but cute inside. Recently updated.... More

Lovely dinner tonight; lobster cakes were divine with a tomato ragout and some sort of chutney. My husband loved his salmon and my Lazy Lobster was delicious, poached in butter! The sides of smashed potatoes and sautéed spinach were perfect. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the amount of actual lobster meat seemed a... More

I've eaten at The Wayfarer so many times over the years, I assumed I had written a review. But since I haven't, here it is. The Wayfarer has undergone renovation in the past two years and has a new chef. The decor and dinner selection has gotten even better. The food is wonderful. Never had a bad meal. Service is... We had a lobster roll and lobster bisque for lunch. Both were excellent. The server, Julia, was wonderful.

We came in just before closing and we're accommodated as though it was early in the night. Super gracious hostess and wait staff. Seafood stuffed flounder and fried chicken dinner were scrumptious. Would definitely go back! Remember, it's byob!
