When you walk up to the restaurant, you will notice their pet skunk, Sydney (although she still sprays, I was told, so don't pet her). The restaurant has the charm you would expect in New England with a dark wood wrap bar if you're early. The menu was eclectic, something for everyone. My daughter had the fish and chips and... More

There is little question that eating at Pier 77 is a gourmet experience. We ate there for dinner and lunch. The words "le bon service" have little meaning in English, but Pier 77 translates well. The food is consistent ( so also say the locals); the tastes are suburb and the service is excellent. It's a first class restaurant with... More

Beautiful dining room with the same menu and prices as "The Ramp" the bar below. Had the Lobster Roll # 6 on my New England taste tour and it had some added ingredients beyond some that were bland with just mayo. Very good food and pleasant surroundings and service.

After a long day of site seeing over the long weekend, we had no idea where to eat. Reservations were hard to come by and Pier 77 had an opening. How lucky! The atmosphere was comfortably elegant. There was a piano and double bass playing in the corner and the smells from the kitchen were heavenly. We had a cocktail... More

We wanted to eat at the Ramp, but it was too crowded, not a seat to be had. We were there for a late lunch (2ish) and thought it would be cleared out a bit! We ended up upstairs. We had to wait a few minutes for a table and to put our drink order in as there was only... More

We wanted to eat at the Crab Shack next door but it was closed for cleaning. We were hungry and decided to stop in to Pier 77. We had excellant service, a nice view, and great food.

How lucky we were to drive a little bit out of town (Kennebunkport and it's tourists) and find this wonderful restaurant. Sits on a beautiful point and seating is in a well appointed dining room with large windows and a view of the harbor. Price, lunch food, and service were excellent. Highly recomend if in the Cape Porpoise area.

The last two reviews were not good. How that can be I cannot fathom. Perhaps they got up on the wrong side of bed. Maybe it was just a bad day for the reviewers. Whatever, their experience was certainly not ours! As well-seasoned travelers from Michigan, we know good restaurants. This one is great! Wonderful harbor view, excellent ambience, a... More

Great location .. Bad food Worst clam chowder ever and lousy stale wine Entrees ( haddock for me fish & chips for my wife ) ok but not fine dining as advertised Service mediocre too Go for the view and eat downstairs with ambience, lower prices and better service.
