Great local pub

Friendly, down home, family owned and good food. Wonderful combination for a great dinner. The place is small and there is usually a wait but it is worth it. Met a local couple while we were waiting who lived down the road and were regulars. This is the type of friendly people you meet here... read more

The menu is not big. The food is good but not great. The place is a joint on the water with cool memorabilia. Its a fun afternoon out.

I hesitate to write a review on my favorite restaurant out of fear that it will become even more popular. We have been going here for years now and are never disappointed. The seafood stew and blueberry cobbler are too die for but really everything is great. We love looking at all the political and sports memorabilia. It's always fun... More

This place is tiny, so be prepared for a long wait. Order a drink from the bar & either grab a seat out front by the water or in back. The patio in particular is a lovely spot for watching the sunset. The Kale Caesar salad is one of the best caesars I have had. My husband got the clams... More

Can't go wrong here. Food is great. Everything is fresh and flavorful. We never miss an opportunity to visit and the view is a bonus too. You need to get there early for a table or you will wait a bit but it's definitely worth it!

Very simple restaurantin Cape Porpoise. We went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and it was busy, but not too long a wait and there's pretty scenery to enjoy while you wait. Had a lobster roll and chips, good stuff, perhaps a bit more pricey than I would expect. Seemed like one guy was running the whole joint and he... More

Just went there for a drink outside. We lucked out and grabbed two adirondack chairs closest to the water. No service, went in and got our drinks, drank them, and left. Tiny area, hit or miss whether you'd get a chair. Although the area is small, its charming, with crushed shells under you, waterways nearby, very pretty. Good drinks. It... More

The Ramp is a very small restaurant. Don't let that deter you. Wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Food great and drinks yummy (try a Painkiller). Take time to gaze at all the memorabilia. There's alot of great stuff to take. Make sure you go into the back room as well. The small patio is a great spot to have... More

Always excellent food! Always smiling and happy people working there - one of our favorite spots. It will become yours too - although sometimes it is a long wait! You won't regret it!

Yep, it's crowded, and yep, it's got upscale food, so it's definitely a choice when you decide to head over to Cape Porpoise for a casual evening. The basics, like fish and chips or burgers, are upscale, high quality ingredients and thoughtfully prepared. If you want something that's on the menu from the Pier 77 restaurant upstairs, that's possible, too,... More
