We stopped for a late lunch. We had the crab cakes and they were the best I have had in years. They were large and presented on a plate with some greens. The view looks out on the fishing village.

Fun place with delicious food. Head "down the ramp" into the restaurant. There are all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and ceilings. You can eat at the bar, a table or on a few chairs outside. It's on the small side, so you might have to wait, but it's certainly worth it. I had a great lobster roll, and... More

With water all around, the lobstermen coming ashore with their catches, and the smell of salt air what could be better. The reclined porch chairs and a cocktail ( Or two) make this place an ideal spot to watch the sun go down.

The Ramp in Cape Porpoise: A bit further along from The Wayfarer is the Ramp. It’s a sister restaurant to Pier 77 - but is more casual and smaller menu. It’s very small and is crowded, but you figure it’s because of it’s reputation. It was amazing! We sat at the bar and the staff is fun, efficient and knowledgeable.... More

The ramp is an annual favourite! We especially love watching the sunset with a glass of wine while waiting for our table. As a rule we are happy with the food however this year we were all disappointed with our 3 meals. The fish chowder was average and the crab cakes overcooked. I had the fish and chips and was... More

Loved the location on Cape Porpoise. Crowded. Hip. Surrounded by water. The beer was good. The outdoor seating was unusual. The nachos were surprisingly tasty, but the portion shockingly small.

Atmosphere was amazing, everything you would expect from a. Harbor restaurant. Tables were literally on top of each other. Clam chowder all though seasoned well lacked a full clam. Not at all what I expected from a restaurant on a fishing pier. have a beer and enjoy the view and sports memorabilia don't waste your money on the food.

We had a good early dinner here. The place is not large and is very popular so we arrived early at 5.30pm. We were lucky and got a table immediately but those arriving shortly afterwards were having to wait. The atmosphere is fun: sports memorabilia lines the walls and the small size and layout of the place makes it feel... More

We live nearby and I have been here occasionally. Last year I brought a longtime friend who has travelled much of the world for decades...and he absolutely loved the place. When he visited this year he couldn't wait to return to The Ramp. The walls& beamed, low ceiling are absolutely jammed with sports memorabilia-mostly Patriots,Red Sox & Celtics. Also on display... We love the Ramp and have been there about 5 or so times. The decor is fun and interesting to look at all the memorabilia hanging on the walls. The staff are friendly and funny. The drinks are great - big martinis and beers. The view of the water and islands in Cape Porpoise is so relaxing. Really good burgers,... More
