My husband and I live nearby and we thought the chowderhouse had opened for the season but it had not. We were looking for a quick lunch and decided to go literally next door to the Ramp. It's a tiny little spot decorated with sports and political memorabilia. We seated ourselves and were greeted quickly by the bartender/waiter who took... More

When you walk in, you feel like you are on the show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The Ramp is a small bar and resturant in Cape Porpoise, Maine, a short drive from Kennebunkport. We visited in February, and the place was pretty packed with people, I assume that during the busy season it is quite difficult to get in. The... More

We stopped to take a photo in this very scenic spot and felt lucky to see a couple going around the back, where the Ramp was hidden. What a great spot: beautiful view of the ocean, interesting memorabilia, cozy atmosphere, and great service. It was freezing outside but warm, friendly, and delicious inside. We will definitely go back.

The Ramp is a pretty small and cozy, ok, maybe tiny. But...the food is great, the service is outstanding and friendly, the waterviews are spectacular and the sports and political memorabilia are fascinating. We've tried almost everything on the menu at one time or another and all are excellent, whether it's burgers, fish and chips or mussels.

My wife and I were looking for a casual lunch spot while visiting Kennebunkport, and this place was recommended by the staff at our hotel. Very cool interior decor, and the staff is extremely friendly. Great hamburger! Would return to this place again when in the area.

A quaint spot with a very nice water view, filled with memorabilia, atmosphere and charm. Food was delicious and reasonably priced (from same kitchen as the restaurant upstairs). Barman / waiter was very pleasant. Recommended.

The atmosphere was terrific, the bass and piano music was fabulous. Went with great friends and had a great meal. Couldn't have been any better.

As a recommendation, from a local, had lunch in this tiny/quaint spot, filled with memorabilia and charm. Food was delicious, view and location were very nice, all in all a wonderful day for our lunch. If we come back north in the future, will certainly make a stop here.

My wife and I were spending the weekend in nearby Biddeford Pool, ME but on Sunday on the way back from Kennebunkport to Biddeford Pool we stopped in Cape Porpoise for lunch and were delighted to have a recommendation for this place from local friends. Both my wife and I enjoyed our lunch selections (Haddock Chowder for her and their... More
