Went to the Ramp. Had the best crab cakes and fisherman stew I have ever tasted. The crab cakes were all crab (little filler) served on top of lightly dressed greens. The stew, with its spicy tomato saffron broth (and haddock, mussels, shrimp and clams) was truly the best I have ever tasted. The decor is fun and quaint. Highly... More

This is a top secret awesome spot to dine! Victoria at the bar is amazing, the kitchen puts out innovative and delicious from scratch food. Even the burgers take top prize in the area for me. The onion strings are a must, with house made smoked tomato ketchup.... You will not leave a morsel on your plate!

Excellent food, excellent service. Definitely worth the drive to Cape Porpoise. We hope to visit here often. It is also a fun place to be. The decor is entertaining.

What a fun spot to stop for lunch! The atmosphere is so fun with memorabilia covering the walls, the ceilings. It's a small spot, but the food was fantastic as was the service. The server and bartender were so friendly- very kind in explaining what all the memorabilia was about and good service. The food was delicious. I had the... More

Can't make myself order anything but the fried clams! Seriously, I have had other stuff on the menu, but the fried clams are just too tasty to pass up! The tartar sauce they make is absolutely delicious too. Shame I've got to wait till next summer to go back.....

We stopped for a late lunch. We had the crab cakes and they were the best I have had in years. They were large and presented on a plate with some greens. The view looks out on the fishing village.

Fun place with delicious food. Head "down the ramp" into the restaurant. There are all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and ceilings. You can eat at the bar, a table or on a few chairs outside. It's on the small side, so you might have to wait, but it's certainly worth it. I had a great lobster roll, and... More

With water all around, the lobstermen coming ashore with their catches, and the smell of salt air what could be better. The reclined porch chairs and a cocktail ( Or two) make this place an ideal spot to watch the sun go down.

The Ramp in Cape Porpoise: A bit further along from The Wayfarer is the Ramp. It’s a sister restaurant to Pier 77 - but is more casual and smaller menu. It’s very small and is crowded, but you figure it’s because of it’s reputation. It was amazing! We sat at the bar and the staff is fun, efficient and knowledgeable.... More

The ramp is an annual favourite! We especially love watching the sunset with a glass of wine while waiting for our table. As a rule we are happy with the food however this year we were all disappointed with our 3 meals. The fish chowder was average and the crab cakes overcooked. I had the fish and chips and was... More
