I wish that people could keep some perspective when reviewing Flo's, and make sure to have actually eaten there. I just brought my kids there after an 18 year hiatus, and I would not have missed taking them there for anything. We went on a Thursday in July, arriving at about 11:20. There was a short line inside. We ordered... More

After driving my this place many times over the years we finally decided to stop and check it out. Essentially you get an overpriced, small, poor quality hotdog with good toppings. Got the House Special. The toppings were very good which somewhat made up for the lack of a quality dog. Customer service is definitely lacking. 25 mins for a... More

First started going to Flo's in the mid-70's, looooong before the days of Trip Advisor. Went back recently for a follow up and the only thing that has changed is that "Flo" is no longer around. The dogs are still cooked to order, the hot sauce hasn't changed, and Flo's daughter in law has kept up the high standards set... More

Here is the key. Line up. Don't hold the door open. When Gail asks you how many, just say the number. Later she will ask you for what you want on them, that is the second time you are allowed to talk. Don't ask for ketchup. Pay cash.

People line up for this place and I really don't see why. Its small stuffy and no inside seating. Its run like Seinfelds soup Nazi, line up and wait your turn and don't touch anything. The dogs are Average Nothing special, just boiled. The wife and I, after eating in the car left shaking our heads as to what the... More

Whenever my wife and I are in Maine on vacation ( annually ) one of the "go to" places is this tiny hot dog stand on Hwy 1 out in the middle of nowhere. Flo's daughter-in-law is a wonderful woman who doesn't take any guff from customers. She has that confidence in her time-tested menu that she can she will... More

Gotta stop here if you are in the area between 11:00 am and 3 PM except on Wednesdays when they are closed. Get at least two dogs per person and standing in line is part of the experience.

Closed on Wednesdays, But a trip to southern Maine is not complete without a stop for a "flo dog" Don't be put off by the looks from the outside or the line out the door, it's take-out and tiny, but worth the wait! When Gail looks at you for your order, all she wants to know is how many dogs,... More

Flo's steamed hot dog is one of the most misleading places I have ever eaten. Look at the photos. If I hadn't been talked into stopping there on my way to Kittery Maine I would have never darkened their door step. The facility is very small and if you go on a weekend, plan having a hard time finding a... More

Little Cape Neddick, ME is home to famous Flo's, a roadside trailer where Flo's family serves up boiled hot dogs, steamed buns, chips, & sodas. You stand in line and tell the lady how many dogs and what you want on them. One big attraction is Flo's special brown relish, but the bigger draw is knowing everybody has visited this... More
