You have to try it to believe it! Always a line, take it and go. Made to order. Famous for 60 years. A must try, but I warn you may get addicted.😉

Flo's has been a fixture on Route 1 in Cape Neddick halfway to forever. It is one of those must do, iconic eateries (like Ted's in Meriden CT, Rutt's Hut in Clifton NJ and the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY). Just go and enjoy. Don't bother ripping the dogs or the way they are presented. Nobody cares. You go for... More

This was our first meal and destination upon arrival in Maine, and I was relieved that we got there by 2 pm. I was following a guidebook that rated Flo's highly while also revealing that the place looked like a shed so we had expectations for a true Maine experience. Fortunately there was not a line wrapping around the place... More

I wish that people could keep some perspective when reviewing Flo's, and make sure to have actually eaten there. I just brought my kids there after an 18 year hiatus, and I would not have missed taking them there for anything. We went on a Thursday in July, arriving at about 11:20. There was a short line inside. We ordered... More

After driving my this place many times over the years we finally decided to stop and check it out. Essentially you get an overpriced, small, poor quality hotdog with good toppings. Got the House Special. The toppings were very good which somewhat made up for the lack of a quality dog. Customer service is definitely lacking. 25 mins for a... More

First started going to Flo's in the mid-70's, looooong before the days of Trip Advisor. Went back recently for a follow up and the only thing that has changed is that "Flo" is no longer around. The dogs are still cooked to order, the hot sauce hasn't changed, and Flo's daughter in law has kept up the high standards set... More

Here is the key. Line up. Don't hold the door open. When Gail asks you how many, just say the number. Later she will ask you for what you want on them, that is the second time you are allowed to talk. Don't ask for ketchup. Pay cash.

People line up for this place and I really don't see why. Its small stuffy and no inside seating. Its run like Seinfelds soup Nazi, line up and wait your turn and don't touch anything. The dogs are Average Nothing special, just boiled. The wife and I, after eating in the car left shaking our heads as to what the... More

Whenever my wife and I are in Maine on vacation ( annually ) one of the "go to" places is this tiny hot dog stand on Hwy 1 out in the middle of nowhere. Flo's daughter-in-law is a wonderful woman who doesn't take any guff from customers. She has that confidence in her time-tested menu that she can she will... More

Gotta stop here if you are in the area between 11:00 am and 3 PM except on Wednesdays when they are closed. Get at least two dogs per person and standing in line is part of the experience.
