My husband and I decided last minute to spend New Year's Eve in Ogunquit. We made a reservation for 5:30 pm at Clay Hill Farm because live piano was scheduled until 8:30. The atmosphere was festive, the music was relaxing and the food was absolutely delicious. We chose their preset menu. The seafood appetizer was a meal in itself. The... More

They have valet parking. The restaurant is great looking inside and out. Hostess very nice. Had a drink at the bar -bartender friendly- Requested fireplace room had a nice table- Had mussels -Caesar salad- Haddock-Salmon. Everything very good and cooked the way we asked. Service was a little slow but not a major problem. Price was good for what we... More

Eight of us celebrated Christmas Stroll in Ogunquit, Maine by going to the Clay Hill Farm for dinner. Festive and decorated for Christmas it is a fantastic restaurant. Great service, real good drinks and fabulous food. Three people raved about their Lg. Prime Rib and two more loved the Tournedos. Our other 3 diners had the haddock and were very... More

Our party of 4 all thoroughly enjoyed our meals...my 3 rating is solely based on the old decor, unimaginative plating style of the entrees, aloof server, and dated service ware. The prices are indicative of fine dining...this is not the experience however. CHF should consider updating their wine glasses, plates, and overall service. Our waiter made us feel like it... More

We went on a Sunday night for dinner. The food was very good and excellent service. It was nice and quiet, peaceful. We did not have to strain to hear the live music which was very well done. Would recommend for a romantic couple's dinner.

I have to say, the prime rib was just ok. We paid $52.00 per person for a three course meal. The waitresses were just ok. They didn't get my order right and then I specifically asked for my expresso with the desert and she brought it before and it was cold by the time my desert came. Having said that,... More

Second time to Clay Hill Farm, the first visit was many years ago (perhaps 20). On that first visit we drove up and quickly determined we were not suitably dressed for this place so left with a promise to return. So 2014 we're back and looking pretty good. It's a Sat night and the dining room quickly fills, as in... More

We made reservations late in the game for a holiday. After driving to Ogunquit from Nashua, NH, we were seated promptly per our reservation. For appetizers we had salad and the lobster bisque. Both were very good. We both had the Prime Rib au Jus. They were cooked just right. To complete the dinner we had the Profiteroles and the... More
