If you want a romantic, quiet, out of the way location with great ambiance and fantastic food and drinks, this is the place to go. From the blueberry mojito, to the wonderful spinach salad, the homemade bread, the wonderful entrees, especially the lamb and the seafood stuffed haddock, you can't go wrong with this restaurant.

This should have been fine dining, but it lacked that certain something. I ordered fresh gnocchi, expecting tender potato pasta. The sauce was superb, but the gnocchi was chewy, reminding me of frozen pasta from the grocery store. The popovers arrived overdone. It wasn't overly busy, so I'm unsure why the food was so disappointing. However, the raspberry rhubarb crumble... More

For the past 5 years, my friends and I have spent a week on vacation in Ogunquit, Maine. During our recent trip, our innkeeper suggested we try Clay Hill Farm, for dinner. He suggested for an appetizer, to try the lobster bisque. He did suggest to not have a heavy lunch, because the bisque and everything else, are served in... More

I have gone to Clay Hill Farm since I was a little girl…..since then, special dinners, a wedding and last night for my husbands birthday. The food was excellent! The lemon crusted haddock was light and delicious. My husbands lamb chops were cooked to perfection. My ceaser salad, a bit wilted, but nice flavor and the clam chowder thin, but... More

We visit Clay Hill every time we go to Ogunquit, Me. It's just a short drive (10 minutes) from town and you arrive at a serene, beautifully maintained property with lush gardens and beautiful Goldfinches feeding outside the many windows that look out onto the lawns. The service is fast and friendly without being obtrusive. The waitstaff knows the menu... More

Valet parking , beautiful gardens in farm setting, superb pianist and spacious room set the tone for a great dining experience. Their special blueberry mojito is excellent, as is their rhubarb soda made with rhubarb from their garden. Hot rolls are served with lemon poppy seed butter. Diver scallops with caviar are succulent, flavors pop in your mouth. Signature salad... More

We went early after being at the Playhouse and had a very pleasant evening. Service slightly slow but the food was well presented and the atmosphere lovely. Looking at the gardens most enjoyable. Our meal, some had lamb and some the duck, was very good. We all had a very good experience and would return again.

My hubby and I recently dined at Clay Hill. We had 3 courses of which most was delightful. He had the Clam Chowder which he said was better than average. I had a spinach salad with cranberries and a maple vinaigrette dressing which made it delectable. For the main course I had the Atlantic Salmon which was very good and... More
