You can see right from the start that this is a a classy but somewhat dated establishment. Complete with the piano player in the lounge who fits that same general description and whom I wished played softer and would have taken more breaks. In fact the entire main dinning room could use some sound abatement help as it is very... More

Wanted to have one special night out while on vacation in York. This is a very cool location. Valet greets you as you enter. The decor when you walk in is definitely old school. But it works. Hostess was very friendly and sat us at a table near window with view of the gardens. The food was very good but... More

We had a reservation for a Friday evening at 7:00 in the height of summer. However, the restaurant was sparsely occupied and the diners spread throughout a number of dining rooms. The atmosphere is perhaps one of faded eloquence, but country chique nonetheless. If you are a musician, or musically inclined, avoid this restaurant. The aged grand piano is in desperate... More

We really enjoy Clay Hill Farm. The atmosphere is both relaxing and romantic. The gardens , piano lounge and bar are very welcoming . The staff is excellent, from the valet, the maitre'd and the waite staff. What I like is that the dining room staff work as a team, so there is always someone to address your every need.... More

We love everything about Clay Hill Farm. Very nice to have valet parking when you arrive. The atmosphere is very inviting, including a warm welcome from your staff. You never feel rushed, its like you are the only ones in the restaurant. Great martinis, great selection of food. Can't wait to see the dinner show this December.
