We came here as part of a dinner package from our B&B, the Gazebo Inn. We were delighted to learn that Sunday evenings have a talented duo providing relaxing music of the singer/songwriter variety (think James Taylor and Simon and Garfunkel style music). Our appetizers and salad courses were especially delicious and our main meals quite satisfying, though there was... More

We have been fortunate to visit Clay Hill Farm each time we are in Ogunquit and always look forward to the next visit. This time was a disappointment. We hope an anomaly. The tables in the large dining room were jammed together, so we requested a little more privacy. We were then relegated to the other side of the room... More

Our family went here recently for a special occasion. There were quite a few of us and the reservations had been made far in advance. In spite of this we were crammed into two tables that really weren't large enough for the number of people seated. When we checked under the tablecloths it looked like they had dug the tables... This elegant restaurant is tucked away in a secluded, wooded area and is just wonderful! Our meals were delicious and I would highly recommend the blueberry buckle for dessert!

Nestled on a hill top in Cape Neddick, this restaurant is not to be missed. Service was outstanding, and our meal was top notch. We had the lobster bisque which was delectable. Hands down the best we've ever had. Our entrees were the day boat haddock with lemon crumb topping......it was excellent and cooked perfectly. We had delicious desserts, however,... More

My wife and I have dined at Clay Hill Farm many times and never had a bad experience. The owners previously owned a fine restaurant called the Grey Gull Inn and Clay Hill Farm exceeds other fine restaurants in the area. The owners know how to run a fine restaurant. The atmosphere, food and service are excellent and this is... More

My boyfriend took me to Ogunquit for my birthday back in April. We were looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner at when he remembered a friend mentioned Clay Hill. We took a rid to find it during the day and when we did we were not impressed. It was April so nothing was blooming of course and it... More

My husband and I dined at Clay Hill Farm while visiting Ogunquit for our wedding anniversary. Although recent reviews were mixed we decided to try it anyway. We made reservations via Open Table and our table was ready when we arrived. The atmosphere was very nice and we were seated right by the fireplace although the only "fire" was a... More

On a recent trip to Maine we had the privilege of dining at Clay Hill Farm and were treated to one of the best 4-course meals we've ever had the privilege of enjoying. Everything from the appetizers and salads to the entree's and deserts were superb and the service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the Butter Poached Maine Lobster and... More

Having lived in Ogunquit, we are familiar with most of the established restaurants and always considered Clay Hill Farm as one of the go to place for special nights out. After reading some of the praise in the recent reviews we were looking forward to going again on our 4 day visit to Ogunquit after the end of the high... More
