If you want a break from the casual family restaurant scene in York,Maine this is a wonderful find. Located on route 1 south of Ogunquit it is worth going to. Very nice ambiance, classical music soft enough to carry on a conversation and not be overpowered by other guests. Friendly professional staff. Nice variety of entres and all freshly prepared... We decided to visit a new restaurant before heading to the Ogunquit Playhouse and were we glad we did! From cocktails to dessert, we were more than pleased. Service was excellent, and the ambience relaxing.

Had an outstanding dinner for my husband's birthday. The ambience was very nice but not obtrusive or too formal. My husband had the filet mignon- melt in your mouth! I had the tuna steak. Although the seasoning on my tuna was a bit salty, the entire meal was delicious as well as the perfectly cooked calamari. The waitress brought out... More

Visited with our family. The dining room was upscale and perfect for our last dinner of our vacation, but not too upscale that our kids in shorts and tee shirts were out of place. The food was outstanding. We had the prime rib, baked stuffed lobster, and lobster ravioli. The wine selection was great and the staff were very friendly.... More

....in every category!! The four of us shared two appetizers and each of us had a salad and an entree. Every morsel of food was exceptionally delicious. The Crab Stuffed Artichokes which had a crab and goat cheese stuffing, topped with prosciutto crumb topping, baked and served with lemon butter. The other appetizer was the Rhode Island Calamari which were... More

First time at this restaurant...stopped in on a very busy Saturday night without a reservation and was lucky to get a table for 2. Strongly recommend a reservation on summer nights. Staff was very attentive in a very unhurried way. Restaurant side not huge but very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Noise level is medium but in a good way.... More

My husband have enjoyed dinner at this restaurant in both winter and summer and we are delighted to find that even during the busy summer season the service and our dining experience were lovely. We will certainly return on our next visit to Maine.

We live in Ogunquit and it was nice to get out of the madness. The food was delicious and the service very nice. We were the last ones there and they didn't rush us out or make us feel pressured to leave. The hot rolls were very nice. I will go back for sure. I will also recommend this place... More

Having dinner at Cape Neddick Inn is like eating in grandma's dining room; one wall has a big stone fireplace (the smell of ashes a bit off-putting on a rainy night in July), another wall has a hutch, and a third holds a bookcase. The menu is diverse and offers dishes that could be considered "old fashioned," chicken crusted in... More
