What a nice menu--a great combination of creative combinations and standards, good service, lovely atmosphere. Overall, it was so good, we came every day for breakfast during our stay in the area.

We went for lunch and dinner the following day. Not only was the food tasteful and delicious but the armosphere was pleasant and peaceful. We had a great time. Their bean soup is out of this world. We had a fresh salad with dried fruits, cheese and quinoa that was delicious. The portabella burger was so very tasty and filling... More

Made reservations for party of 6 only had room at 6:00- glad we were able to get in. My favorite meal while in town here for the week. Black bean soup is crazy good! Service is top notch, not just teenagers with summer jobs. Our whole family enjoyed it even our high maintenance family lol. If you like creative food,... More

Another couple joined my wife and me for dinner at The Roost Cafe in December and we were all very impressed with the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Among our favorites were the crab cakes and the evening's appetizer special, beef empanada's. For dinner two of us had the Coq Au Vin and two had the pork belly special (we argued... More

My daughter and I came up for a quick overnighter. Not completely familer with Ogunquit we came upon this place as we were looking for a nice breakfast. Saw the sign and said lets try it. Well, from the time we entered to the time we left we couldn't have picked a better place. So inviting when you step in... More

The bread that is brought to the table is boring and had no substance or body. The clam chowder is very good with the addition of bacon.(yumm) the Cuban pork with black beans and rice were good except just a bit heavy on the salt. Really good flavor.

We had a wonderful breakfast at this french inspired bistro. Lemon ricotta pancakes, fresh fruit and eggs were terrific and the coffee was fresh brewed and delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Really enjoyed our late lunch today at Roost. My partner had a crab cake Po Boy and I had a 3 egg omelette with caramelized onions and crab. Both came with a potatoe cake and were excellent. The staff were friendly throughout and the service was great. PS very easy parking behind the restaurant. (I noticed a big table nearby... More

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the meal. I had the candy shaped lobster stuffed pasta and it was yummy. My husband had the Cuban pulled pork and it was the hit of the table. Also REALLY enjoyed the watermelon sangria while at the bar area. Very nice after a hot day of sightseeing.

This is a lovely little restaurant. They were very busy on a rainy Thursday in the summer, so we waited quite a while for our lunch. The fish and chips were delicious, well worth our wait. Lovely decor, very cute.
