We had lunch at The Good Table on our last trip to Maine and came back for dinner this time and we were not disappointed. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and the service was great and so was the food. People tried various seafood, vegetarian, and meat dishes and everyone was happy with their choice. It was our... More

While visiting the Maine coast 6 of us dined at The Good Table twice. It's a pleasant, casual atmosphere but the food and service made it seem like a high end restaurant. We especially enjoyed the twin lobster special that was a terrific value and very tasty - including the smashed potatoes. Another excellent dish was cod finished with a... More

Dined here for lunch on the day after Labor Day, arriving around 12:30. Moderate-sized crowd. Decor is eclectic -- hand-colored photographs and art from the 1920s alongside assorted black-and-white photos of graduating classes and summer camp attendees, alongside oil-on-canvas seascapes. Our waitress was fairly efficient but not really personally invested in us as diners. Never inquired as to how our... More

We enjoyed the food and laid-back atmosphere so much that we dined here twice! The soups are outstanding as are the desserts. This has a family atmosphere, and lunch or dinner on the screened porch in back offers the opportunity for bird watching amidst the trees.

We had a fantastic breakfast at the Good Table in Cape Elizabeth, ME. The food was abundant and delicious. Our server, Laura, FANTASTIC. She had a sense of humor and was most attentive to our needs. Definitely check this place out.

The restaurant specialises in Maine dishes and was packed when we got there. Obviously a very popular choice with the locals! We had one drink on the deck and then our table was ready. The service was good, despite the feeling that it was slightly understaffed. I think this is because the restaurant got hit with many people at the... More

Have met friends here for lunch several times this summer and they deliver good, solid food without any surprises. The sandwiches are creative and tasty and we nearly always got something from their daily specials. The service was professional but we saw it waver a bit when it got crowded on our second visit in late August. It's consistently good... More

We had a great breakfast food wise, but waited 45 minutes to get our food. None of the tables were bussed, so it was a little gross to look at all the tables. I had to actually get some unused half and half cups off another table because our waitress was too busy.

wife and I went here on a Saturday night because we wanted to avoid the probable crowds at Two Lights. We were seated immediately (yes it was early ~5:30) and ordered drinks. We shared the fried calamari salad app which was split on separate plates without asking and was fantastic...lightly breaded succulent calamari over greens, tofu, and artichokes. We both... More
