An excellent breakfast and lunch value in Camden. You can sit on the back deck and enjoy a stunning view of Camden harbor. If like many you're on the quest for the best lobster roll in the area.....go no further. Without a doubt, the best value to be found in Maine.

Best haddock chowder and scallop dinner arround! We drive nearly 1.5 hours for these items on the menu. Attentive service. Simple surroundings, nothing fancy. Outdoor deck. Serves breakfast and lunch only. All the food passing our table looks tasty and well-presented on the plate. You won't be disappointed.

We were here about six months ago on vacation and loved it so much we had breakfast twice in the week. This time our week's vacation consisted of three breakfasts, take-out orders of chowder and an eat-in lunch at the Marriner and we brought along another family member who loved it just as much. It may be a year before... More

Awesome. SO AWESOME! Cheap, delicious, down home breakfast. Better yet, they are BYOB so you can do mimosas on the deck. One more time...awesome.

As my wife and I continued our New England Chowder Tour I was delighted to find the Marriners Restaurant in Camden. We had the fish/haddock chowder and it was wonderful. It was a broth chowder with a milk base but not a thick, flour-based chowder. There seemed to be a lot of locals at this restaurant which is a good... More

Eh. We were looking for something a litte more upscale but ended up being served food that reminded us of a old school diner. Very friendly waitress, but our meals could have used a upgrade. We will try it again before knocking it off our list completely next time we visit. It could have just been an off day. (We... More

Quintessential New England restaurant. Breakfasts and lunches are old-fashioned with typical seafood additions. Nothing terribly fancy, but all comfort foods. Wait staff is always kind and friendly. In the nice weather, there are lots of tables outside on a deck overlooking Camden Harbor. In inclement weather, you can still face the window for a terrific view. I've come here many... More

The haddock chowder is very good...lots of big chunks of tasty haddock in a milk broth ( as opposed to a thick cream base ). Nothing to detract from the taste of the fish, an excellent chowder. Wish I lived closer so I could get it more often! The cup-sized serving was filling and it left room for a piece... More

You know it's a good place when, in the middle of your second forkful, you are planning what you'll have the next time you come here.....and how soon you can make it. The breakfast is terrific and the service is friendly and efficient. Homemade grilled muffins....outstanding. We may be back tomorrow (closed on Tuesdays). The restaurant sign said it's been...
