We went to Francine's on our last night in Camden to celebrate our anniversary. We have very mixed feelings about the restaurant as the food was delicious, but the rest of the experience lacked. There is no hostess and the only two waitresses working were not friendly in the least. We made reservations for 2 and were seated next to... More

Fantastic place to eat. Definitely make a reservation, and sample as many small plates as you can. Then the next night go to Shepard's Pie, in Rockport, with the same owner.

Flawless execution of service for our birthday celebration. Loved the personalized menu and special dessert. Very warm and professional staff.... Thanks for making our dinner memorable!

Worth going, off the main road on side street, but well worth it. Great atmosphere, excellent food, attention to details on food prep, even a full house on a cold March night with plenty of locals tells you something. Would definitely go again.

Everything was delicious. We started with an appetizer made with chicken livers (which is not my favorite!) and it was outstanding. The beet salad was exquisite; A special of smoked pork ribs melted in your mouth and the standard, steak frites did not disappoint. A side of Brussel sprouts was yummy. Waitstaff was attentive.

Make a reservation. But if you don't sit at the bar and watch them cook your meal! Drinks were delicious, as was the bread before dinner. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great albeit a tad loud sometimes but worth it. Everything tastes great and is presented beautifully. If you like dates try Devils on horseback. You'll thank me... More

When a menu invites you to enjoy pork ribs with salted caramel and peanuts, there is only one correct answer. "Yes, please!" From cocktails to dessert, our meal at Francine was a delight. Wonderful service, beautiful food served course after course without fussy foodiness but with a real respect for the craft, the pace and the patron. Just a top... More

Service very good and food was delicious. The waitress went out of her way to be friendly and accommodating. The only negative was that it is a little crowded, but certainly not enough to deter me from returning.

If you happen to drive through Camden or stay a few days in this very pretty harbor of the coast of Maine, Francine is a must. For the ones who would like to enjoy a relaxed evening with good food, Francine is the place. Tucked away from the buzz of the tourist sea front, Francine will give you the feeling... More
