Went to Whitehall for our 24th wedding anniversary, and they were wonderful! We are local, and hadn't been there in years for some reason. When we had to cancel a planned trip to an island to attend to a roof problem (how romantic!) we were brainstorming where to go to salvage the day and my young adult daughter told us... More

What a nice surprise to find a wonderful restaurant right there in the Whitehall Inn. Our dinner was spectacular and the breakfast (included in the room cost) was wonderful.

We have stayed here and have thoroughly enjoyed this fine, elderly lady! The diningroom is lovely-we have returned for breakfast, lunch and cocktails on the porch. The inside cocktail lounge is called "Gossip"!

Modern dining experience while eating in a classic inn, steeped in history. Like eating in a museum. Decor is a great balance of new, while carefully respecting great history of the place. The food was carefully prepared and served in a decorative, pleasant fashion. Had the lobster and scallop pasta with dill cream sauce which was very good. My wife... More

Didn't realize that the Inn had a 4/5-star restaurant until the first night when we looked over the menu and had to pick one dish when they all sounded great. Ate at the Inn every night we were there as no other place was as good.

We had a delicious breakfast hosted by the Brides parents the morning after the wedding.Blueberry pancakes, maple bacon, and fresh berries, eggs and apple french toast. The coffee was great. What a beautiful place to have a meal. The wait staff was very friendly and you can enjoy the rockers on the porch too!

The food was good, though not outstanding but above all the service was a bit unfocused. A shame in a way but could easily be put right with a bit of training and clearer allocation or roles for the staff.

Breakfast buffet on weekends was good and included in the price of the stay if you are staying at the inn.

After reading all the great reviews of this place I was really looking forward to breakfast here. There is no doubt this is a wonderful old icon, with charm and tradition. But, the breakfast was underwhelming. After looking over the buffet of the usual ordinary breakfast buffet, we decided to order off the menu. We both had eggs benedict and... More

The Whitehall Inn's prominent location just at the edge of town and perched above Maine's Route 1 makes the place a recognizable icon for just about anybody who has traveled through Camden. The Victorian structure's wide verandas with wicker rocking chairs and beautifully landscaped walkways are an invitation to experience the Camden of yesteryear. Vincent's Restaurant at the Inn is...
