We have dined everywhere in the world, but never experienced a better dinner than at Natalie’s. This is culinary art and total perfection. The staff was very friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. The restaurant looks stunning and the views are spectacular. We had the 4 course lobster menu with a wine pairing and must say steamed lobster is nice, but... more

I have never experienced the attitude of wait staff like i have experienced in Maine in just three short days! it is unbelievable! No one wants to accommodate us in Maine and apparently we are the only republican people spending money in Maine. the chef cannot compromise the integrity of a dish to give us what we want and we... more

Four of us had dinner last week. Decor is dramatic, maybe even a little over the top, definitely not what you would expect in Maine. I guess they're going for cosmopolitan. Bar scene very lively. Food was good but not perfectly executed. Terrine of confit and foie gras was weird and not overly tasty. Lobster (quite expensive) was overcooked, too... more

We (me, my wife, 18 year old son and 20 year daughter) live in the Portland (Maine) area and wanted to try something new for Mothers Day brunch. We were pleasantly surprised by the European atmosphere, flavorful cuisine and 5-star service at Natalie's. Thanks to the owner Raymond, chez Lawrence and waitperson Ellen for exceeding our expectations! The brunch dishes... more

My husband and I live locally and love to go to Natalie's. And we love to tell everyone we know how special it is. Both of us have lived in, and traveled to, many places, and we often recall our travel experiences based on our food experiences. We have had many amazing food experiences, and Natalie's is at the top... more

Dinner at Natalie’s was a culinary celebration. We are real foodie’s and not easy to impress, but Natalie’s left us wanting for more. At Natalie’s you are not only wowed by the food but also by the spectacular décor, the friendly and knowledgeable service and amazing views. Like the inn also here an eye for detail and personal service. The... more

Ah, Nathalie's. The decor is very moderne and the setting is truly amazing--but, what a waste of a prime location. This is why I could see why other reviewers may paint a positive picture of this place. I, would love to take the site over and give it to one of the many other surpassingly talented chefs/ owners in the... more

With much interest we have read your review. Unfortunately it is hard for us to respond to your evaluation of our restaurant as much of your review is not reflecting our service and cuisine. For instance we never served a ginger sorbet in our restaurant ever and our Chef de cuisine would never combine berries and goat cheese in any...

Natalie's is superb fine dine at its best. The decor is amazing, the staff attentive, but not obnoxious or arrogant. The menu is outstanding and the food, simply divine! We enjoyed a meal where we could take our time, enjoy the delectable food and the upscale atmosphere, yet not feel rushed to finish our plates. A wonderful experience ... the... more

Thanks to everyone at Natalies for a wonderful 1st Anniversary night last July! From the moment we came in and got a glass of wine at the bar to the moment we left the experience was extraordinary! The view from the deck added to a wonderfully romantic night. The entire staff was fantastic. Special Thanks to Amber, our waitress! It... more

My wife and I couldn't have been happier with our dinner experience Saturday night 8/9/08. Lovely table for two, outstandiing service but not obtrusive, excellent advice regarding cocktails and wine (we wanted to experiment, including a rose that we don't ordinarily drink). Food was wonderful with lovely presentation. Dinner for two was $180 - with tip - and worth it.... more
