Like many reviewers, we were drawn to this restaurant due to its lovely waterfront views. Unfortunately, also like several other reviewers, we had a terrible experience eating here. The service was really beyond slow, or "normal" bad -- it was horrendous. We were there on a relatively busy Saturday night. The "hostess" seemed to have other jobs as well, and... More

New location is just what people come to Maine to experience, and the interior has been nicely redesigned with tables a reasonable distance apart, unlike some restaurants. However, I must admit I really miss the original Peter Ott's menu (miss the great salad, uniquely delicious pork chops, etc). What happened??

A new setting, now right at water's edge. We sat outside on a pleasant day, very enjoyable. Food was very good, prompt. A bit pricy but it is peak season and waterfront dining.

Recently stopped here on a day trip up the coast. We waited about 10 minutes at the hostess station to be seated. No hostess appeared and the wait staff had that, "It's not my job" look about them as they clearly saw us but looked away. So we move on and had lovely lunch at another place. Seemed snooty to... The atmosphere is what drew me in. But the service was BAD. We waited 20 minutes to get bread and our drinks...and the place wasn't crazy busy. I had the steamed lobster, which is impossible to screw up. But my wife had the halibut, and it was awful. the fish wasn't spoiled, but the sauce and seasoning were bad....we didn't... More

Located on the water by the charter sailboats in Camden Maine. The waitress was very nice - food was fine....salads are pretty small so don't plan on that being a meal. French Onion soup was good. From sitting to getting our food was a bit long which can be a problem since much of the parking in the town is... More

The location and view are great, but if you were fortunate enough to have experienced the original Peter Ott's you may be disappointed. Even the special was nothing special. Will most likely be crossing this off my "must do when in Camden" list. Sadly.

Peter Ott's relocated to a waterfront location on the public dock in Camden. Great views of the harbor add to the dining experience at this restaurant that has always had consistently great food. The new location now includes a spacious outdoor dining area. Because the new location is a larger venue, there are may new servers and we were pleased... More

My husband and I met some friends in Camden yesterday for lunch. We sat outside and had a terrific waitress! Two of us had salads with shrimp, one had a haddock sandwich and the 4 th person had the special of the day : a pulled pork sandwich. Each person was very happy with their choices! We did share desserts... More

The new location has a beautiful view, but the service is now terrible, the menu has taken a turn for the worse and the food is overpriced. We've been regular customers for years, but this will be the last time unless things change. Iced tea with no ice, no bread ever arrived, small portions, waitress was nowhere to be seen,... More
