Mostly likely the best hamburgs in Camden! Small restaurant, usually loud, nothing romantic about the place! Cluttered with all types of things hanging from the ceiling and all dusty. But the burger was good!

We really loved this quaint place, and the food was wonderful, but my favortie thing? the Cappy's Chowder House GINGER BEER! Where can I get that in Southern California!?
It was hard to get a seat here, foregoing the wait the first night and then having to split the party for lunch the next day, but the food and service were excellent. This was April...hate to see the crush in high season BUT they are expanding to next door so that should help.
My family and I went to Cappys for lunch today..Service was mediocre at best and food was was WAY over priced for what we received. For a place known for its chowder, I would be ashamed for what we were served..

Where we go for happy hour and fish and chips! Free popcorn and chicken wings at happy hour. We're regulars there.
Cappy's is known for its chowder, but I've had other good meals there as well. It's conveniently located in the center of Camden so it's a great place to stop for lunch while exploring all of the great stores in this wonderful mid-coast town. We decided to try it for lunch during Maine Restaurant Week. Granted what we each had were specials for this event, but the food was excellent. My husband chose...

Just love the home town feeling in Cappy's. We've never received a bad meal at lunch or dinner. The desserts are great as they have their own bakery. Love their Lobsta Stew/Chowda!
