Great food close to hotels!

We stayed at the Riverhouse Hotel and easily walked over. The place was nice and the sirloin was great and cooked perfect to medium rare with a great charcoal flavor! My husbands burger was also very very flavorful. They don't stay open too late tho so drink early!

Warm and friendly greeting from the hostess made this a pleasurable meal. Ask for a table with a view overlooking the Harbor it is worth it. We both ordered lobster rolls, but mine I asked for no mayo and a side of melted butter. They were both fantastic. Service was fast and friendly.

Food was good. A lot of variety on the menu. Everyone found something they liked. View is wonderful. Lobster mac and cheese was great! Prices were within reason $140. For a family of 5 with desserts.

This fun place was recommended by the staff at the Glen Cove Inn in Rockport. We ate in the bar, cozy and good beer choices. Fun bartender! We both had burgers and they were delicious! We went to Maine to eat lobster, but couldn't have been happier w/our food choice!

Cappy's is a fun place right on the water. The food portions are huge and reasonably priced. I got the fish pie, which was unique and delicious. Both my husband and I had leftovers.

The food I have had here is only OK, but whenever we are in town we always stop in to have a drink at the bar. Always friendly. A mix of locals and visitors alike. Almost always, you end up talking with your stool-mates.

We ordered the lobster roll and cup of chowder. I don't recall ever having been served a lobster roll that was drenched in lemon juice to concealed the rancid flavor of lobster meat gone bad (extreme fishy flavor). The roll was good, though; it was nicely grilled. The chowders were hugely disappointing. I had the seafood chowder, which had a... More

Driving down the coast, went in just as they opened. Deidre was washing the front windows (really, at opening time?), and I got a whole dose of her "attitude" right from the get-go. Two other parties were seated in the dining room when she pointed out two tables that I could choose from. As a job interview, for this restaurant,... More

The Haddock Chowder is among the best fish chowda's I have ever enjoyed - outstanding! The service was excellent - friendly and attentive. The Haddock Reuben was a very creative, memorable plate - big enough to serve three people. Bar drinks were very very weak.
