We went into the restaurant with 7 people without a reservation. We were seated immediately. the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and kept right on top of every thing requested and then some. The chowder here is so think your sppon stands up in it. Very tasty!!

Okay, this place attracts tourist in droves, but the food and service are great. We did not feel rushed through a production and the locally sources seafood was just perfect. I would imagine they get busy at times but the y have an upstairs and plenty of space. Nice harbor view and the bakery downstairs is a treat in itself.

We got some pre-made, but fresh, sandwiches, some cookies and some coffee and drinks to go. The selection of sandwiches was sufficient, the choice of coffees varied and the cookies--well, you need to have a... More

The bar was rather small and tight. We did enjoy the chowders available but the potato skins with crab were flavorless. OK wine selection.

This restaurant has a lot to offer. Of course it's not a five star restaurant, but the staff were courteous and the food was good. They even have a part of the restaurant that overlooks the bay. This is a great place for families with kids.

After 18 years of visiting Maine, this was the worst meal ever. We had lunch here a couple of years ago and it was fine, with outdoor, deck seating at that time. One of our group of 4 had a veggie burger which tasted like unseasoned cardboard. The others had various fried seafood entrees. The so-called cole slaw served with... More
