My one visit here. Beautiful view upstairs along windows overlooking harbor. Clam chowder delicious. Service was ok, except he brought the wrong order to me. Then when corrected, it appeared on the bill still along with the correct order charge. He gladly corrected the bill. Glad I checked it, cause I normally don't look too close. The lobster tacos were... More

While baling around the Harbor front, we stopped into Cappy's for a bowl of chow-dah! Yummy, followed by hot coffee to go for more wandering. Great food, great location, great shopping!

We had dinner at Cappy's, in the upper deck of the new section. The food was fabulous, the service was excellent, and the view of the harbor topped off a perfect dinner experience. Don't miss the big mug of clam chowder - it's the best we had during our three weeks in Maine. I had the stuffed Haddock, which was... More

Loved the chowder. The bartender was also our server. The drinks were good and the service was excellent . We'll be back!

I have ate a Cappy's three times. The first two times I would have to say the food was great; this last time my wife was more than happy with her meal. I had a bowl of clam chowder which was good and the seafood pie. I ate 75% of the seafood pie and just could not choke the rest... More

We tried this restaurant because of what we read in Fodor's travel book. We were not disappointed! The fisherman's stew was outstanding and the fried shrimp was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. I will look forward to returning when in town again!

Chowder is incredible, both haddock and clam. The fisherman's delight is awesome, with a good mix of scallops, shrimp and clams. The menu leans a little heavily towards the fried seafoods but everyone in our group loved what they had.

Had lunch at Cappy's. Great view, great food. Had the Lobster Tacos and had to be one of the best lunches I have ever had. I think there must have been a whole lobster in those two tacos and the habenero sauce was great. Wish I had gone back.

This was our third visit here and we took out of town guests for lunch while visiting Camden. Sad to report, only two of the 6 liked their food; and specifically un-liked and un-edible was this 'veggie slaw' they serve - tastes terrible and looks like it was made a week ago. We asked the server if we could change... More

All I can say is this restaurant was recommended but it was disappointing. I ordered the lobster dinner, it was decent but lacked any verity with the sides. Stay away from this place unless you have a large group of people and need to eat fast.
